  1. I've just installed Eddie 2.16.3 on a new Windows 10 system. When Network Lock is active, I can't seem to get Eddie to connect to any of the servers because it gets stuck at "Checking route IPv6" and the connection keeps timing out. I have put exceptions in both Malwarebytes and Windows Firewall for all components used by Eddie including the OpenVPN Daemon but it still refuses to connect when Network Lock has been activated. It works fine otherwise, but it is annoying since Network Lock is a useful feature for preventing DNS leaks. I have attached a log file to see if anyone can help me figure out what's causing the problem. Bizarrely this problem is not present in earlier builds of Eddie such as 2.14.5, which I don't want to use for security reasons. I am using Windows 10 Home, Version 1803, OS build 17134.345. I hope this information is sufficient to help resolve the issue. Eddie_20181011_131408.txt
  2. Hi I've recently upgraded my service with my ISP to a faster speed. Haven't changed any setting in Eddie but now have noticeable decline in speed and stability. Especially noticeable with torrents. I've usually gotten up to speeds of 3mb and steady transfer but now have sudden drops to 0 and not reaching higher than 1mb before doing so. The service upgrade from cox was supposed to double my internet speeds which has been working when not using eddie. Using latest utorrent and haven't changed any of the preferences than before. Have gone through most of settings recommended on the forums which all seemed to work previously. Attaching log, are there any new changes I should be making? Protocols for eddie are set to automatic, and the only ovpn directives added were mssfix to 1430 which after re-checking didn't seem to change and I left it the same.
  3. Hi all I'm wondering if anyone else is having connection issues with some of the UK servers? Now and again I'm getting 'Bad DNS Lookup' issues when using certain ones? Don't know which ones off hand, but could look into logs if someone needs me to. I also seem to be able to browse Netflix through the UK servers now. I'm wondering if this is tied up to the reconfiguration allowing this?
  4. I've been reporting a problem to support since 7 am (Thailand time) and have yet to hear BOO from anyone. I got much quicker responses before I'd actually signed up. For two days everything worked swimmingly and then today I cannot connect. The program finds a server (in Canada), tries to connect, times out, waits 3 seconds, tries again.....and again......and again. I have to logout to stop slowing down my regular isp. I"m frustrated and confused. I don't can't frame a query that the forum finder accepts. I want to throw the program in the dustbin.
  5. I think this is too complicated for me I should be somewhere simpler. I have tried many of the solutions even down to having a complete reinstall done on Windows 7. Tap driver back to the old one, I can't remember the number but it is what was suggested and blocked it from automatically updating in Eddie. Everytime I turn my back the DNS on the LA connections goes from Automatic to 10.4.0.1 so I manually reset it to automatic. At the moment AIR is not letting me connect at all, well it connects but won't let me use the internet see speed test attached. I have tried the reset of the firewall. I will post this then turn off and see if I can reconnect with air. If it makes any difference I am in Vietnam and I tether through a Blackberry Z10, on a good day I can tether at 5Mbps, this morning I was getting the same from Air on a UK server, then it went tits up again and dropped to 0.5 now as you can see there is no connection at all through Air. Any suggestions greatly accepted but please bear in mind you are dealing with someone who can follow instructions but does not know computers.
  6. For the past month (or two?), I've had problems connecting to USA servers. On those rarer occasions when I do successfully connect, the connection rarely lasts long (anywhere from ~5 minutes to an hour), at which point the connection stalls with no data apparently successfully sent or received. I am having problems connecting to these servers both from home and at work, which use different service providers. Prior to my difficulty, I could use almost any USA server without problems. But right now, I have no problems in sustaining connections to servers in Canada, but can't seem to use any USA server. Changing operating systems seems to make no difference, as the connection troubles appear to be exactly the same whether I use Windows 7 Professional x64 and Linux x64 (Trisquel) with the latest Eddie client. A typical failed connect transcript is copied from my log below. Any thoughts as to what might be going on? 7. I've been having a very odd problem with AirVPN, and this issue seems to be present in both the AirVPN client as well as Viscosity (OpenVPN). I can connect just fine, with no issues at all. However, after a few minutes my donnection drastically slows and becomes non-responsive. In order to get my connection working again I'll need to restart because the adapter is unresposive as well. Here is some of the log file from the airvpn client. I eliminated repetative entries. I am experiencing the same issue in both the stable and expieremental builds. As I said I am also having the same problem using OpenVPN; I can connect fine and in fact I get great speeds at first. Then my connection slows and eventually is non responsive. Any ideas? Could this be triggered by torrenting? Thanks.
  8. Hi All, My AirVPN client has not been able to connect for the last couple of days. I have tried several different servers in different countries and uninstalled and reinstalled the software but nothing has changed. I am using AirVPN on a windows 7 64-bit and have not previously encountered any problems. Any suggestions?
