  1. Hi members, Does anyone has an idea how to proceed to troubleshoot my Eddie crashing at startup on macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 ? Thanks for help, Z
  2. hi First, I would like to thank you finally fixed Eddie for Mac OS X. Sadly, there is another issues...since your client crashes from time to time...it leaves all its crap in system. There is too many adapters that never were there. I managed to "ifconfig destroy" some of them but something still in system that blocks internet connection. If I disconnect VPN, my internet connection doesn't work anymore (I do not have kill switch on). Any suggestions, please?

  4. On macOS, Eddie often fails reconnecting to AirVPN when recovering from sleeping mode. Either Eddie crashes completely or the routing checking fails.
  5. HI, I recently updated to the latest version 2.11.15 and I noticed that sometimes, when I close the client, it stops the vpn and restores the normal status of connections, but it keeps running in background using just a few mb of memory instead of closing itself as usually happened with older versions. It apparently crashes. When I load Eddie again it says that another instance is already running, so I must kill the previous one first. Anyone with this problem? I am on Surface 3 running windows 10 x64 anniversary update build 14393.726. Thanks
  6. Hi, I downloaded the latest Eddie (2.11.5, package installer), installed, and upon application launch, found the application stuck at Starting. The menu bar icon's menu which normally displays connection status reads: 'Eddie client veresion 2.11.5 / osx_x64, System: OSX, Name: 10.12.1' After five minutes of waiting, it does not shift from the above. However, going to the server list and forcing a refresh brought up this error in a window which then crashed the client after I clicked OK: Unexpected error. 7. Hello community, i have been plagued with frequent disconnects from servers over and over again for the past few months, it usually starts after a power failure or unexpected shut down (or if i forget to shut down cleanly). It would seem AirVPN is unable to repair itself like it says it does in the recovery section. I have also submitted tickets to support, but they seem to have no idea what the hell is going on, becuase all they can seem to suggest is making sure my AV isnt blocking my connection, generic common sense solutions that do not seem to apply to my problem (not to bash support but i need a few outside opinions here). Anyway i have a log if any of you guys can make anything of it. Once it reconnects me to a new server the connection appears to be stable, however if i try to reconnect to my original server it crashes yet again. In my case my client seems to always fall back to Canada, which is usually why i don't like seeing or using Canada, too many frustrating memories of OpenVPN crashing. Anyways, any advice you can give would be appreciated, log is below. 10. Eddie 2.7 and 2.8; Linux Mint 17.1: From /user/bin, I invoked ./airvpn, which produced the following output: Unhandled Exception: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path "/home/*/.airvpn/logs/airvpn_2015-01-07.log" is denied. I fixed the problem by taking ownership of the logs directory (chown) and removing the logs. Quick fix, but could be troublesome for a novice user. Thanks for the service! All the best
  11. I had a strange thing happen. The AirVPN client, version 2.4, kept crashing. OpenVpn was still running so I had to kill the process before restarting the AirVPN client. After seeing a strange warning that a certificate was invalid due to the date range, and seeing that is should be valid, I noticed that my system date had been changed to 12/31/1899. I changed the date back but wonder if malicious software could invalidate encryption by intentionally changing the system date to one outside of all certificate valid date ranges. My only warning came from my connection to runbox.com not from anywhere else. I'd expect to see warnings on every web site using https but that didn't happen for some reason. Would a system date in 1899 invalidate AirVPN's encryption and expose my network activity?
