  1. Hi. I'm not really experienced with Linux. Still a beginner. I installed AirVPN (run eddie-ui_2.13.6_linux_x64_debian.deb with software installer) When I want to start AirVPN a window pops up saying: Failed to run mono /usr/lib/AirVPN/AirVPN.exe path=/home/eule/.airvpn console.mode=none as user root. Unable to copy the user's Xauthorization file. What do I have to do?
  2. Hello, I downloaded the latest experimental version of Eddie and tried to install it while the older version was open. It gave me an error while installing, so I closed the running Eddie and completed the installation successfully. After it was complete, the client wouldn't start anymore and I'm getting this error (see attached screenshot). I tried to uninstall and reinstall the application but the problem persists, also the restart of windows didn't solve it. I also tried to run cmd as administrator and do "sfc /scannow" but it won't work. It gives me an error "Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service." I tried to install stable version of Eddie, same problem. What can I do? I'm running windows 10. Best regards, Alan

  5. I was suffering this problem for a long time in the past, but now I have found the reason for it and I want to share this - maybe it could help someone. I was using different Linux versions of portable Eddie-Clients (x64) and I had this issue when Eddie failed to start sometimes at first try after system reboot, so I had to kill 'airvpn' process as root and restart it again. It happened about 1 time out of 5 and it was a bit annoying to be honest. I experienced this issue on different Linux distros: Linux Mint, Linux Mint Debian Edition 1 and 2... Now I have found the reason for this: I was running portable Eddie from a NTFS formatted drive - I was needed this drive to be Windows-compatible at that time, but now I don't. So, about a week ago I formatted it to Ext4 and now portable Eddie starts everytime without problem! The conclusion is: Linux version of portable Eddie sometimes fails to start from NTFS filesystem. That's it. I just wanted to inform everybody.
