  1. Dear Staff, After multiple people, including me, already mentioned in this thread - https://airvpn.org/topic/11908-new-1-gbits-server-available-nihal-es/ - whenever we connect to the Nihal server, ANY service (in my case TV and Pay-TV, which very annoyingly does not work with your "Spanish" server) recognises Nihal as being in Lisbon, Portugal. Furthermore it is supposedly registered to a portuguese name, too. If I understood you guys right, the server actually is in Spain, but that does not change anything for us users, as every "normal" ip-checking website locates the server in Portugal. So the server actually being in Spain, but showing itself as Portuguese to basically every website I was testing, does not help at all. It is rather unpleasant that internet-based Spanish Pay TV contents are not possible to access with AirVPN. The old spanish servers, albeit supposedly much slower, worked perfectly in that respect. As we didn't get any additional and/or problem-solving replies in the above attached thread, I would appreciate it very highly if you could help us out with this and fix that problem. Having said all that, I want to emphasize that I absolutely love AirVPN and what you guys offer. I think it is amazing and you have all my respect for the way you are running AirVPN. The above problem is the only drop of bitterness I am experiencing. Cheers
  2. Hi, I wonder when a new server in Spain will be available. I cannot access to many local services. Thanks
  3. Hello, I am writing to request a new server or servers in Estonia. A server in Estonia would be a great addition, as Estonia has excellent online freedom. Please see the links below for more info. 1 2 3 4 5 6 What are your thoughts about my suggestion? Feel free to reply and/or answer the poll.
  4. My normal internet speed is 60-70 Mbps, but when i decide to use the vpn now, my speeds are gone. Always less than 10mbps, normally about 4-5mbps. This Suddenly happened, I had moved my router to a different room as well as my computer when it happened, but i don't see why this would have caused anything to happen if my normal speeds are the same. Also, why is there no japan servers? just curious.
  5. What is the best way (if there is a way) to connect to a predefined server by using just one-click? For example, a Windows 8.1 start menu shortcut that once clicked would load up a client and connect to a server.
  6. Hi! Sorry if I started topic in wrong category. I wonder whether username (User Account Name) which somebody use on his/her computer (with Windows installed) can be seen by ISP or server? Thank you for responses.
  7. Hi guys. I recently bought membership. No matter what server I try to connect, output is this. Could you please check on this log and let me know what should I do in order to use this service? 8. I managed to get my headless Ubuntu Server 12.04 LTS running AirVPN fine. However, I can't seem to get any data connection, either thru wget or apt-get commands or anything else. Are there some tests I could run to see what it might be? Any help would be awesome! Thanks!
  9. Hey Guys, When using AirVPN, will I be able to choose the location of the IP address? Like, can I pick whether I want to appear from Russia, Germany, USA etc. ? Thanks
  10. During the few months I've been using various AirVPN USA servers to connect my Mac notebook via Tunnelblick software from various Starbucks stores' WiFi, I've noticed a definite correlation between available bandwidth and the frequency of random disconnects from the VPN. This is based on observations of how many devices are being used in the store, SpeedTest.net results, both on and off the VPN, and observing the log files. It would help me greatly to know just how much bandwidth I need in order to connect through the VPN and avoid these random disconnects. Just in case there is something going on that I don't understand (maybe a timeout of the VPN server I'm using? I do make sure I use the lowest latency, highest bandwidth server by checking the Status section of the website before getting down to serious work), I'm attaching the log of the latest disconnect I experienced. disconnect from Starbucks by Tunnelblick or AirVPN after 15 min 2013-8-19.txt
  11. Hi ! I am happy returning customer and intend to use AirVPN mostly for torrenting... In order to avoid admins headaches and them being forced to respond to complaints from whoever they come from, which server locations are best for torrenting ? Thanks ;-)
