  1. Hi,

 Since a few weeks I get the wrong location from Google, after typing 'My location Now' in the search field.

 When connected through AirVPN I get Kassel as my current location. That is Germany! I live in the Netherlands; When connected without going through AirVPN I get the correct location in the Netherlands.

 So, I can only conclude that something goes wrong when connected via AirVPN.

 Is there a solution?

 My configuration:

 All consumer devices are Mac's and IOS;
Router: Netgear R7000 with DD-WRT (Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r30910M kongac (12/02/16));
Router is configured as explained here: https://airvpn.org/ddwrt/;
OpenVPN is configured with servers based in the Netherlands only.

 Looking forward to a solution.
 Regards, G.
  2. Just curious why Netherlands is the most used country aside from having the most servers. I always thought Sweden and Switzerland had better laws regarding privacy and filesharing. Could someone inform me of Netherlands benefits over other locations in Europe aside from having central peering? I mean, is there a non technical reason for it or is the peering the only thing that makes it preferable to other countries in Europe?
  3. There is a dutch article I heard of. It's said that the secret service of the Netherlands is doing things without informing the government on what they exactly do. Do they track down software pirates? Do they attack encryption of secure VPN and proxy tunnels or even mail? Or are they helping other secret services with surveillance? But there is a bigger scandal. I didn't read of it in any newspaper or news site in Germany before I got informed of this by KOPP Online (it's a background information service I don't fully trust yet since you cannot just confirm things they write about). The article is Dutch. If there are people speaking the Dutch language please confirm my information by reading the article.
