  1. UDP/TCP-443 Add mssfix 1100 or mssfix 1200 and you'll see that works with these mssfix values. For OpenVPN over SSL-> add mssfix 1300. Regards, Flex

  4. Hello, Instead of reseting it manually every now and then, now you can do this automatically. And stay/be connected 24/7 through the VPN. The issue then when trying to connect remotely (e.g. office/other location) to the home computer that's connected to AirVPN. Your client IP will be reset to 10.3.0.1 or 169.x.x.x. In that case OpenVPN-GUI will still show Connected, but in fact it's not. 1)This small batch file(see below) will ensure that the TAP-adapter will not disconnect. ---------------------------------dhcp.tap.adapter.bat------------------------------------------- @ECHO OFF :LOOP ECHO Waiting for 300 seconds.... timeout /t 300 netsh interface ip set address tapadapter DHCP netsh interface ip set address tapadapter DHCP netsh int ip set dns name = "tapadapter" source = dhcp ipconfig /all GOTO LOOP ---------------------------------dhcp.tap-adapter.bat------------------------------------------- 2)After the connection has been established to AirVPN(UDP/TCP or OpenVPN over SSL/SSH) run the above file dhcp.tap.adapter.bat. 5. @flat4 Just make sure that the downloaded data is about 70% of the total bandwidth. For example on a 25Mbps=~3.1MB/s set the value in your torrent client to 2000 or around that =~1.9->2MB/s. I hope this works for you, but if you increase that value to a greater one you'll get disconnected again.
  6. Hello, You won't be able to watch from that US exit/end point. Disconnect from the US exit node/point/server and Connect to one of the Canadian servers Lesath or Chepei. Use your preferred program: OpenVPN or the one provided by AirVPN Team. Protocol: UDP/TCP Port:443. Local Area Network (Private Network/main adapter): Obtain IP Automatic or configure it accordingly to your network layout: DNS1:10.4.0.1(If UDP 443 connection is used) DNS2:10.50.0.1( If you use OpenVPN over SSH/SSL.) Under Menu in Tech details you can find all the DNS information Local Area Network2 (Public Network/airvpn adapter) Leave it as DHCP aka Obtain IP Automatic and DNS. It is set that way by default when connection is established. Happy streaming. Regards, Flex

  9. There is a little glitch in the if #day of the week checking section. It still works and does the intended job. I looked all over the web for a solution how to change the timezone on tomato routers. The one line date -s etc.etc.etc.etc does it but the hour shifts -1 for some odd reason. So I created my own script aka what you see posted here. Now I've corrected it.... 12. Get this VPN Watcher How to Shut Down uTorrent Automatically When Your VPN Disconnects | TorrentFreak No need to pay them anything..............., Admins and Mods let them know of this one, Regards, Flex
  13. I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sure the same would have happened to me if I used Comodo without double checking bit torrent's transfer stats. I can't seem to get vpn watcher to work. How must it be set up? The website doesn't have very detailed instructions. How did you end up paying that sum? Look here......might be a different version of VPN watcher........How to Shut Down uTorrent Automatically When Your VPN Disconnects | TorrentFreak and in the Advanced Settings put there the AIr DNS servers that you use(10.x.x.x). Consult with AirVPN first if more help is needed or my solution not to your liking. Regards, Flex
  14. Moderator it doesn't drop connection when OpenVpn 2.2.2 is used(I consider it to be the most stable version). For the sake of it try OpenVpn 2.3.x version and you'll be surprised of the # how many connections are being dropped compared to 2.2.2.
  15. ok I'll test it again and make sure that 443 tcp connection will hold. hmmm.....without javascript the connection was ok but when JavaScript is enabled all the weirdness start to happen. Advance Member have you blocked it? and yes the Crucis tcp 443 did hold.
  16. Hi, This is a website full of JavaScript and ajax links most hidden. It does drop OpenVpn direct TCP 443 connections. I didn't test udp or ssh. OpenVpn over SSL is the only one that holds. I have no Idea what other "goodies" it has to offer. I blocked it by IP(s) and hostname. Staff you should have websites like these blocked from server(s). BTW pop-up the message in italian transates to what? Regards, Flex
  17. OpenVPN over SSL has such an impact on performance that it is recommended only when absolutely necessary, for example when OpenVPN connections are disrupted. If you can connect over OpenVPN directly, do not use OpenVPN over SSL or over SSH, unless it is a proof a concept, technical/didactic curiosity etc. With OpenVPN over SSH as well to port 22, you might get better performance (simply because SSH is "more efficient" than stunnel). Hope the above might help. It's the answer from Staff that I got regarding OpenVpn over SSL/SSH. Regards, Flex
  18. I've been reading several forum threads about DNS leaks, including the AirVPN staff's splendid thread about using Comodo to prevent DNS leaks and leaks in case of unexpected VPN disconnections (https://airvpn.org/i...3405&Itemid=142) As far as I can see, if I set up Comodo using the rules in the above mentioned thread, my computer won't be able to communicate through the internet unless I have an active AirVPN connection.[CORRECT] While this suits me fine in most cases, it does become a problem when I need to access websites that are restricted to clients with an IP address within the IP ranges of national ISPs, i.e. when I want to stream broadcasts from the website of the national TV station. Please note that AirVPN doesn't have VPN servers located in my country.[PICK A SERVER IN ANOTHER JURISDICTION CLOSE TO YOU THAT WOULD ALLOW YOU TO STREAM] It would be great to both use AirVPN with proper leak protection settings in Comodo, and, when needed, also be able to connect to certain websites using the IP address assigned by my ISP. [READY UP AT LEAST 2 BROWSERS of your preference] 1.CHROME-OUTGOING ONLY-it will allow all traffic to go through whatever active connection is present, if any else u'll get a conn error. 2.FIREFOX-create a Tap.mac rule all traffic "rerouted" by using mac address of virtual tap-32. To Mr Moderator: Post my answers if considered of some value or send me a msg redo them, modify;change.

Hi All, Therefore noone could login into gmail/yahoo/hotmail or https websites(e.g.https://www.google.com) due to "Error 107 aka SSL protocol issue"(the so called certificate problem). Problem seems to be attributed to: 1.Hacking of the hosts file in Windows. 2.Adobe 3.Some Antivirus they use(d). 4.Malicious Website(s) they visited. 5.None of the above are certain. Fixes/Solutions can be found online: 1.Webroot claims to be able to correct the problem/glitch. 2.Change IE/Chrome/Firefox settings to SSL3.0/TLS1.0 and http://www.google.com->https://www.goggle.com Regards, Flex

Hi, Admins and Moderators Microsoft Office 2013 Plus Preview might also play a role in this. Outlook 2013 Preview in particular when configured for Hotmail/Yahoo/Gmail etc. Somehow and for some odd reason the connection is dropped. My OpenVpn 2.2.2 over SSL-443 dropped out of the blue when sending/receiving emails. Advise members to uninstall Microsoft Office 2013 Plus Preview. Microsoft Office 2010 is OK. Regards, Flex

Hi, It was either a hard or soft reset of the server due to a power wattage->caused a reboot of Chepei Canadian server->caused stunnel to restart/malfunction on the server now it is back to normal. (until it reboots again I assume) stunnel 4.56 with OpenVpn over SSL working on Cephei now. Putty SSH-22 working.... UDP 443 working..... TCP 443 working.... Regards, Flex
  23. Hi, check this link->http://blog.censurfridns.dk/en see if these DNS servers help put them in your router as DNS primary/secondary the servers are located in Denmark. Regards, Flex
  24. One more step should be considered, for utorrent/bittorrent in the settings/properties->go to ->advanced under dns1/dns2-> enter the 10.4.0.1/10.5.0.1 ->now the app will use the airvpn servers->if anyone cares Not to use the servers provided by their ISP/whatever you have set as DNS primary/DNS secondary. Regards, Flex
