  1. Hello! Please right-click on the Air dock icon. It's the circular small icon with a white cloud on a blue sky in the dock, which appears when airvpn.exe is running. Select "Logs". A window will open up. Click on "Copy to clipboard", a big button at the bottom of the window. Then paste in the forum (right-click on the message composition window and select "Paste"). Kind regards
  2. Hello! You can do that, there are no privacy risks. Kind regards
  3. Hello! Maybe you have an invalid e-mail address registered in our system? If you're still facing issues, please do not hesitate to contact us in the forum or by directly writing to info@airvpn.org Kind regards
  4. Hello! We're very glad to inform you that a new 100 Mbit/s server located in Switzerland is available: Geminorum. The AirVPN client will show automatically the new server, while if you use the OpenVPN client you can generate all the files to access it through our configuration/certificates/key generator (menu "Member Area"->"Access without our client"). The server accepts connections on port 53, 80 and 443 UDP and TCP. As usual no traffic limits, no logs, no discrimination on protocols and hardened security against various attacks with separate entry and exit-IP addresses. Do not hesitate to contact us for any information or issue. Kind regards and datalove AirVPN admins
  5. Hello! In order to improve the service we're glad to inform you that we're going to change frontend servers. Those of you who inserted in their hosts file the line: 46.105.19.36 airvpn.org in order to resolve airvpn.org (even when firewall rules prevent that) will need to modify it with: 85.17.207.151 airvpn.org Furthermore, any 46.105.19.36 IP address in any firewall rule will have to be replaced with 85.17.207.151 Kind regards
  6. Hello! No, we don't. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any further information. Kind regards
  7. Hello! In order to send us the connection logs, please right-click on the Air dock icon and select "Logs". Then click on "Copy to clipboard" and paste here. Also, your Comodo rules and Network Zones definitions will be helpful for troubleshooting. We're looking forward to hearing from you. Kind regards
  8. Hello! Yes, it's safe. See also: http://www.iana.org/assignments/ipv4-address-space/ipv4-address-space.xml Kind regards
  9. Hello! Yes, you can use it. You need to uninstall 2.2.2 completely (so you'll also have the new, improved TAP-Win32 adapter) and install 2.3_beta*. Being a beta version, you should not expect the same stability of 2.2.2. Kind regards
  10. Hello! Yes, 100% means total available bandwidth in use, so that server (apart from bursts) can't give any more bandwidth. The monitor also shows a percentage graphic bar, the flag of the country where the server is physically in, the name of the datacenter location/town, the number of currently connected clients. On the right you can see self-explanatory tables that are useful to check servers speed and stability. Kind regards
  11. Hello! We're very glad to know that the problem is solved. We don't know what may happen if you re-enable PeerBlock after the connection, you should try it to know for sure. You don't need PeerBlock anyway when you're connected to a VPN server. Kind regards
  12. Hello! Thank you for your inquiry. It's not a problem. The anonymity layer is just the same regardless of your ISP allowing or not port forwarding (in some cases, your ISP NOT allowing port forwarding is an additional security). It's important to note that AirVPN will let you bypass this limitation, i.e. you can remotely forward ports on our system and finally be able to receive incoming connections from the outside, if you wish so. Kind regards
  13. Hello! Yes, it has been reported by some customers that network-manager (apparently any version) sometimes needs to be restarted in order to allow a new connection. Thank you! Kind regards
  14. Hello! Before upgrading, did you try a connection with any firewall, antivirus etc. deactivated? Can you please send us the logs of the new OpenVPN connections? Kind regards
  15. Hello! No, PeerBlock should not interfere. Anyway, please try again with any firewall, antivirus, PeerBlock deactivated. If it still fails, try to upgrade to OpenVPN 2.3_beta1, released just a couple of weeks ago. Uninstall completely OpenVPN 2.2.2 and install OpenVPN 2.3_beta1 available here: http://openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/downloads.html Restore your configuration file to the original form (i.e. delete route-delay and route-method directives), or re-generate new files with the configuration generator, and try again. Kind regards
  16. Hello! You can put those directives anywhere in the configuration file. You can try both TCP and UDP ports. Now please try to re-add: route-method exe Do not delete the line: route-delay 10 50 And as usual please send us the logs at your convenience. Kind regards
  17. Hello! Please follow thread https://airvpn.org/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=2&id=4545&Itemid=142 It appears the very same problem. Kind regards
  18. Hello! Now please edit again the Air*.ovpn file. Please delete the line: route-method exe Please modify the "route-delay" line in the following way: route-delay 10 50 and finally please send us again the connection logs. Kind regards
  19. Hello! Actually, account "sayal" has been connected and actively exchanging data since hours. The account is still connected at the time of writing. There is no timeout in the session closure when you disconnect. Only in case of a "dirty" disconnection you might have to wait 60 seconds to reconnect. Kind regards
  20. Hello! There's a similar, known issue between some Windows Vista versions and OpenVPN. It might be related to your case. The fix requires a modification to the OpenVPN configuration file. Please try to switch to OpenVPN GUI. Download the files you need with our configuration generator (menu "Member Area"->"Access without our client". Decompress the downloaded archive and copy all the files inside it in the OpenVPN configuration directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenVPN\config). Edit the Air*.ovpn configuration file with any text editor, and add the following lines: route-method exe route-delay 5 Save the file and close the text editor. Launch OpenVPN GUI with administrator privileges (right-click on it and select "Run as administrator"), right-click on the OpenVPN dock icon, select the Air server in the menu and finally select "Connect". After that, if there are still issues, please send us the OpenVPN log: right-click on the OpenVPN GUI dock icon, select the Air item menu, then select "Logs", finally copy & paste the logs here. Kind regards
  21. Hello! The main problem is here: 15:27 Warning: route gateway is not reachable on any active network adapters: 10.4.0.113 Either the TAP adapter is disabled, busy or it has not been installed properly. Can you please try to uninstall completely OpenVPN and re-install it, making sure to authorize the installation of any driver? Kind regards
  22. Hello! The TAP-Win32 adapter does not come up. Assuming that you have already checked that it is enabled according to the previous post, and that now you have just one TAP adapter, please make sure that in Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services the DHCP Client Service is started and running. http://openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/faq/79-client/259-tap-win32-adapter-is-not-coming-up-qinitialization-sequence-completed-with-errorsq.html Also, what is your OS version? We're looking forward to hearing from you. Kind regards
  23. Hello! Please follow the support instructions. If you already had a TAP adapter installed, you had to check whether it was enabled and not add another one. Anyway, please revert back to just one adapter, check that it is enabled, try a connection, browse to our website and verify that the central bottom box is green and saying "Connected". If it's red, please send us again the logs. We're looking forward to hearing from you. Kind regards
  24. Hello! The TUN/TAP adapter does not come up. Apparently, either it is not installed or it is disabled. Please make sure that it is enabled: On Windows XP: Open Control Panel-->Network and Internet connections-->Network Connections. Right-click on "TAP-Win32 Adapter V9" and select "Enable". Windows Vista: Open Control Panel-->Network and Internet-->Network and Sharing Center-->Manage network connections. Right-click "TAP-Win32 Adapter V9" and select Enable. Windows 7: Open Control Panel-->Network and Internet-->Network and Sharing Center-->Change Adapter Settings. Right-click on "TAP-Win32 Adapter V9" and select Enable. If you find that the TAP adapter is already enabled, select "Disable", apply the change, then select "Enable". If you find that you have NO TAP-Win32 adapter, something went wrong with the OpenVPN installation (maybe you did not authorize the installer to install the adapter driver). You'll need to install an adapter: please select "Start"->"All Programs"->"OpenVPN GUI"->"Utilities"->"Add a new TAP Virtual Ethernet Adapter". If the operation fails, you'll need to completely uninstall OpenVPN and re-install it, making sure to authorize the installation of any driver. Please feel free to let us know whether the above solves the problem. Kind regards
