  1. Hello, please UNtick "Enable UPnP port mapping" and make sure that DHT and PEX are enabled. Kind regards
  2. Hello, in this case you can just add in your routing table appropriate routes to the IRC servers IP addresses in order to have the traffic to them not tunneled. For example (in Windows, in a shell or script with administrator privileges, for a single destination IP address to be reached out of the tunnel, after the connection): route.exe ADD MASK 255.255.255.255 More (many more) ideas: https://airvpn.org/topic/9549-guide-to-setting-up-vpn-just-for-torrenting-on-windows-thanks-to-nadre/ Kind regards
  3. Hello, you might also like to evaluate a solution which is potentially simpler, i.e. configuring one computer as a host (sharing Internet connection). The host connects to a VPN server, and accepts connections from the other devices in your network. The guests will have their traffic tunneled transparently. The host needs to have two NICs: one network card is used to connect to the VPN server, while the other accepts connections from the guests. In this way you'll need to run only one OpenVPN instance on the host and you will not need to run on it an OpenVPN server. Kind regards
  4. Hello, we don't see any problem with configuration files comments and Tunnelblick, can you please elaborate on the issue at your convenience? Kind regards
  5. Hello, the Air client connects to airvpn.org to retrieve the servers list etc. Use OpenVPN directly or OpenVPN GUI in order not to connect to airvpn.org. Anyway if you run OpenVPN over TOR, your real IP address is not communicated to any VPN server, client or not. Kind regards
  6. Hello! While your system is connected to a VPN server, can you please open a command prompt and send us the output of the following commands: ipconfig /flushdns ping 10.4.0.1 ping google.com tracert google.com ping 8.8.8.8 Kind regards
  7. Hello, something is blocking OpenVPN: can you please check firewall, antivirus and any packet filtering tool? Kind regards
  8. Hello, an OpenVPN wrapper is a software that sends commands etc. to OpenVPN, often through a graphical user interface for comfort purposes. Examples: the Air client for Windows, OpenVPN GUI, Tunnelblick... All the wrappers have a handy "Disconnect" button or option that you can use to safely disconnect your system from the VPN server. If you use OpenVPN directly, you can simply send a soft kill command to the process, or just interrupt it (CTRL-C). If you run OpenVPN as a service, you can stop the service. Kind regards
  9. Hello, please disconnect (or stop) OpenVPN or the OpenVPN wrapper you run. The web site button "Disconnect Now" is meant for emergency, forced disconnections. If you use it in this way, your client can try a re-connection after it is forcefully disconnected by the server. Kind regards
  10. Hello, we regret to inform you that Diadem VPN server has been withdrawn because of incompatibility between us and the provider FDC Servers. We received this communication from FDCServers: Of course we will not comply to requests that have the arrogance to tell us how to conduct our business and would force traffic monitoring and logging that is not required by any law and that is potentially illegal. Additionally, such request comes as a consequence of unproven claims of copyright infringements from one third-party private entity, several of which (and this is very important) we know for sure are fabricated and false (because they refer to alleged copyright infringements on servers ports that are not used at all). FDCServers can rest assured that its services will no more attract our and your money, Kind regards
  11. Hello, ok, so it is probable that it's just a router problem. Yes, please disable it (it is anyway useless when you're connected to a VPN server, because it sees only encrypted traffic, so it can't inspect anything) and test whether the problem is solved. Kind regards
  12. Hello! We're glad to inform you that we're getting rid of this Flash-based Speedtest. We're currently testing our own speed tester which does not require Flash at all. Please see "News and announcement" for more information. https://airvpn.org/topic/9830-new-speed-test-available/ Kind regards
  13. Thank you very much for your feedback, this is exactly what we need. Additionally, can you please post the parameters you have used (manually or automatically) for the test, if you can? Just copy and paste the text that appears on the lower box when the test(s) is/are over. Kind regards
  14. Hello! It looks like a communication problem in any point between you and the VPN server. The fact that you need to reset or power cycle your router, and that after that everything goes back to normal, suggests that it's either a router crash or some "defense system" of your ISP or your router which wrongly identifies the OpenVPN UDP traffic as an UDP flood attack (when you connect to a VPN server over UDP, all of your outgoing and incoming traffic is over UDP). Kind regards
  15. Hello, it does not happen with some Opera versions we tested, can you tell us which version you're running? Also, does it have any extension/plugin running? Kind regards
  16. Hello! The old internal speed test (Speed Test Mini) has several issues: it is a closed source 3rd party application, it requires Flash and its reliability when used with high bandwidth line is extremely poor. A new speed test has been implemented in order to overcome the aforementioned limitations. It has been entirely developed by us, it provides customizations to make tests more reliable, it does not require Flash and importantly it performs tests outside and inside the tunnel. The idea behind this last feature is to measure the performance difference inside the tunnel, in order to have hints on bottlenecks (if any) which may be caused by your ISP (through traffic shaping, for example) or by various factors, such as packet inspection tools, Internet "security suites" and CPU power. Be aware that it's still in an experimental stage, so your feedback will be very welcome. The URL is: https://airvpn.org/speedtest_ex In order to use it, you need to log in the web site with the same account and the same device that is connected to one of our VPN servers. The menus are quite self-explicative, anyway do not hesitate to contact us for any clarification and feel free to send us your feedback or any remark about any issue. Kind regards
  17. Hello, sorry, there is a delay due to unforeseen problems. The micro-routing Ubertechie has detected a bug in the micro-routing system and has been fixing it. Additionally, we have an annoying delay (for unknown reasons at the moment) on the delivery of another server in France which would have helped us in the testings AND that in our plans will be employed in the near future as a full VPN server (if it will pass all the tests). Hopefully you should see news soon. Kind regards
  18. Hello! The Air client (airvpn.exe) is portable, it does not need installation. Just paste it in a comfortable place, for example the Desktop. If you can't find it anymore, try to search for airvpn.exe on your whole HDD, or just re-download the archive, decompress it, copy & paste the client where you wish. Kind regards
  19. Hello, we don't see any point in our Terms of Service which would forbid that. If there's some problem, you will soon (2-3 days) receive an opinion from our legal advisors, please hold on. Kind regards
  20. Hello, of course we are not interested in kidding potential customers who want to pay! We don't detect any problem with the payment interfaces, can you please describe the issue with more details? Kind regards
  21. Hello, we have just checked Leporis AND your account, everything is fine. Packets are forwarded to your VPN IP. Then, of course, you receive them encapsulated and encrypted from the VPN server Entry-IP address to your public IP address. When they are on the tun interface, they are already decrypted by OpenVPN and have the "real" header and payload. At this moment, we have tested that TCP packets are sent correctly to your system, and are actively rejected (we see Connection refused (111), not Connection timed out (110)), so perhaps it might be a firewall problem. Also, what is the service listening to your remotely forwarded ports? Kind regards
  22. Hello, now Netflix is included in the anti-IP-based-geo-location-blocking system. Special thanks to an Air user who allowed us to test Netflix. https://airvpn.org/topic/9223-netflix/ ABC and ITV have been added as well. Special note about ITV: it might require HTML5 geo-location as mandatory https://airvpn.org/topic/9338-itv/ - we'll be investigating. Kind regards
  23. Hello, that's probably a setting in your browser, or you're not using our DNS. Our DNS servers are neutral, do not ever inject or alter the requests (other services resolve to search results, try to fix typo etc). Kind regards
  24. Hello! The TUN/TAP adapter does not come up. Can you please try a Winsock and TCP/IP stack reset, and finally a system reboot, according to the instructions here: https://airvpn.org/topic/8320-solved-connects-but-ip-doesnt-change-on-windows-server-essentials-2012/?do=findComment&comment=8321 EDIT NOTE FROM SUPPORT: RagingElephant managed to detect and solve the problem, it was caused by PeerBlock Kind regards
  25. Hello, you can generate split files by clicking on "Advanced Mode" and ticking "Separate certs/key from .ovpn files". By default the generator creates .ovpn files embedded with certificates and key. Kind regards
