Names resolution order in Windows default settings is: hosts file DNS NetBIOS DNS is queried if no match is found on the hosts file. hosts file is typically edited by filter programs to force some domain names to resolve into non routable IP addresses, as it happened in your case with our FQDNs. Just to make two examples, to block resolution of ad related names, or prevent access to dangerous services. Please check your hosts file and also make sure that your machine queries a neutral DNS (we recommend Quad9, 9.9.9.9, for commitment to privacy and neutrality). Kind regards

Hello! In AirVPN you can only make recurring payments through PayPal if you authorise PayPal to bill you at set intervals. Every other payment method does not support periodic billing. Deleting the mentioned authorisation is an operation that takes a few seconds and can be done at any time. @dshbfjdsaauj Hello! Eddie keeps a safety backup of the system settings (firewall and DNS) it modifies. If Eddie can't restore the DNS settings because of a crash or of a kill without grace, at the next run Eddie will realize it is in a "dirty" state and will rely on the safety backup files to restore the settings at the next clean shutdown. Therefore running Eddie and shutting it down properly should solve the issue with no need of additional manual fix. Of course if a crash occurs the crash itself should be investigated in the first place, please feel free to describe the problem more thoroughly. Kind regards

Hello! You may consider a virtual machine connected to the VPN for an effective traffic splitting with good compartmentalization. You would run Call of Duty on the "not connected to the VPN" host (run CoD outside the VM for optimal performance of the game itself) and anything else, i.e. all the other applications that need tunneled traffic, inside the VM, which will be connected to the VPN. Hello! Not correct, 3 Gbit/s full duplex is 3 Gbit/s down + 3 Gbit/s up. To be even more precise: the servers have a 10 Gbit/s NIC and port, and they are connected to 10 Gbit/s lines. However, 3 Gbit/s (full duplex) are guaranteed, while 10 Gbit/s (full duplex) are best effort. With that said, congratulations! Kind regards

After a quick consultation it looks like Malwarebytes again enforces competitor VPN blocks through "Web Protection" (it is not the first time, in the past they blocked entire datacenters and VPN web sites, not only VPN servers...). AirVPN is not the only "blocked" infrastructure with such unfounded claims (trojan?! website?! VPN servers do not offer any program to download or any web site). After an informal consultation with some of our competitors someone suspected that this practice can be an attempt to promote Malwarebytes' own VPN services, by blocking competitors on the computers of their own customers. If you disable Web Protection you will resolve the problem. Or maybe you can consider to eradicate from your system any software enforcing unfair practices and undue blocks. Kind regards

Hello! No, watch out. Right now and also during the previous reply you were and are connected only with "Ra*a". "No ports open" means that the tested port is not being forwarded on the VPN server(s). Possible reasons: ports are disabled, ports are forwarded to a device which is not connected at the time of the test. Kind regards

Hello! The system is right. The only port linked to the "Ra*a" certificate/key has been disabled by you. If you need it, you must re-enable the port from your AirVPN account port panel. The switch "Enabled" must be green (if it's grey, it means that "Enabled" is off, i.e. the port is disabled). Kind regards

To flush the rules: sudo nft flush ruleset Also check the remaining policy of INPUT and OUTPUT chains of the filter table (if existing) if the problem persists, just in case they are still set to 'drop'. Please clarify at your convenience.
