  1. Hello and thank you! Of course not. Transactions will be accepted anyway after 6 confirmations. Actually, we see that the system accepted your new subscription payment a few hours ago, but if you are talking about some other, additional transaction, please do not hesitate to open a ticket to the "Sales" department. Kind regards
  2. We would like to underline that the problem, if confirmed, is obviously NOT on our side. This is a momentary workaround that can't be accepted as a good solution. It is unacceptable that you are compelled to add an additional tunnel and force OpenVPN to work in TCP mode, causing a serious performance harm, to bypass a block caused by an application that you are paying for. Kaspesrsky must resolve the problem or, leaving apart technical inadequacy, shadows and doubts of anti-competitive behavior and unfair business practices could thicken as a consequence of this problem. Please keep the thread up to date if you find anything new. We would also recommend that you hammer Kaspersky customer care pushing them to solve the problem in the nearest future. Kind regards
  3. Hello! We're very glad to inform you that a new 1 Gbit/s server located in Spain is available: Taurus. The AirVPN client will show automatically the new server, while if you use the OpenVPN client you can generate all the files to access it through our configuration/certificates/key generator (menu "Client Area"->"Config generator"). The server accepts connections on ports 53, 80, 443, 2018 UDP and TCP. Just like every other Air server, Taurus supports OpenVPN over SSL and OpenVPN over SSH. As usual no traffic limits, no logs, no discrimination on protocols and hardened security against various attacks with separate entry and exit-IP addresses. Do not hesitate to contact us for any information or issue. Kind regards and datalove AirVPN Team
  4. Hello! We are taking charge of the problem, we will keep you posted. Kind regards
  5. Hello! Today we're starting AirVPN eighth birthday celebrations! From a two servers service located in a single country providing a handful of Mbit/s, the baby has grown up to a wide infrastructure in 20 countries in three continents, providing now 209000 Mbit/s to tens of thousands people around the world. 2018 is the year that's bringing full IPv6 support to the infrastructure as well as "tls-crypt", an OpenVPN feature which makes circumvention of blocks against OpenVPN, an issue which is particularly important in countries controlled by human rights hostile regimes, even more efficient than the other methods we have been providing. Software related development has also been powered up, and during this year you will see the development of specific software for Android platform (which is already available as a beta version), an important addition to the already existing line up for GNU/Linux, macOS and Windows. Our mission https://airvpn.org/mission has been and will be empowered by the ongoing support to projects and NGOs which aim to the protection of privacy, personal data and freedom of expression. If you're curious to know something about a series of fortunate events which gave birth to AirVPN, have a look here: https://airvpn.org/aboutus To worthily celebrate Air's eighth birthday, we're glad to inform you that starting from now we will offer a 30% discount on all plans. Hurry up, this special offer will end on June the 11th, 23:59:59 UTC! Check the new prices here. Kind regards and datalove AirVPN Staff
  6. Hello! Our support team has received some other report pertaining to this problem. Apparently, some Windows 10 update forces the uninstall of the tun/tap driver. We have been currently unable to confirm such reports, but if you can confirm such a situation, the simplest solution is just re-installing the tun/tap driver with the OpenVPN script (which you need to run with administrator privileges) Start -> All Programs -> TAP-Windows -> Utilities -> Add a new TAP-Windows virtual ethernet adapter. Kind regards
  7. Piwik is specifically configured to respect users privacy. Usage of piwik is internal and does not enable us (or any third party of course) to extract any personally identifiable information or any personal data of any user, for example IP addresses are not collected and visitors logs are not kept. At the same time Piwik allows us to see the global amount of page views, web site visits and the amount of time our web server needs to generate a page to users. Such mentioned data are not, and can not be considered as, personal data of any user. Kind regards Addendum: Piwik main options have been always remained unused by us, so why keep it when it can cast such doubts even in a long time customer like you? Therefore it has been disabled, so anybody with doubts like yours can now have peace of mind and usual confidence in every field handled by AirVPN. Kind regards AirVPN founders

  9. Hello! It's back online, problems have been sorted out. Kind regards
  10. Hello! Please check this: https://airvpn.org/topic/27412-ubuntu-1804-no-gksu/ Kind regards
  11. Hello! Yes, gksu dependency has been already removed from Eddie 2.14.4beta deb package. Otherwise you need to stick to the portable stable version or install gksu as you describe. Anyway Eddie 2.14.x is quickly reaching the stability stage. Kind regards
  12. Hello! We're glad to inform you that we have just re-published the Privacy Notice and Terms. The essence and the scope of the privacy notice and terms remain unchanged. A more detailed language has been used and additional clarifying paragraphs have been added. They pertain to Air procedures to respect GDPR (EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679) requirements. The Regulation will enter into force on May the 25th, 2018, but we have checked that Air procedures have been always GDPR compliant. Every effort has been made to keep the language simple and clear, and the whole notice and terms readable and understandable by anyone in a short, reasonable time. You can read the Privacy Notice and Terms, which are also linked at the bottom of Air web site pages, here: https://airvpn.org/privacy/ Kind regards and datalove AirVPN Staff
  13. Hello! We operate 16 servers in three different datacenters in the UK. It's virtually impossible that all datacenters have the same problem at the same time. Additionally, we do not experience any problem (also check the real time servers monitor) and we have no complaints from other customers. Therefore the problem is probably on your side and you might like to open a ticket to get support. Kind regards
  14. On every server OpenVPN over SSL and SSH are available as usual, nothing changed, on entry-IP 2 or 1 (according to the destination port). Check the list in "AirVPN" > "Preferences" > "Protocols". Kind regards
  15. Hello! You must have selected connection modes which end to entry-IP addresses 3 or 4. Such modes are currently available, but only on a small amount of servers. Deployment goes on and these modes will be available on those entry-IP addresses as well in the near future; in the meantime you need to use the specific servers supporting them and/or select a connection to entry-IP 1 or 2. Kind regards
  16. Hello, it should be fixed in Eddie 2.14.4beta, can you please test? Kind regards
  17. We donate them money. You have been warned so many times in the past to stop flaming and trolling in our forums, this time you get a permanent ban from the forum which can be removed only by the Air management if they will want to do so. Regards
  18. We do already provide them, except for DNSCrypt. which is superfluous since the DNS servers are inside the virtual network. For the n-th time you just throw flames. Stop immediately or you will be definitively kicked out of this community. Kind regards
  19. Hello! Thank you, bug confirmed, we will investigate. Kind regards

  21. Last update: 16 May 2018 - Related to version: Eddie 2.14.4 Any Linux distribution has at least:a different graphics server (X11, Wayland)a different desktop environment (GNOME, KDE, LXTE etc.)a package manager with a specific format (deb, rpm, tar.xf etc.)a different packaging signature for trust and securitya different method to obtain administrative privileges, required by advanced features of Eddie (also because OpenVPN requires them)a different set of packages used by our client, that sometimes have different names (for example 'stunnel4' under Debian, 'stunnel' for Fedora)maybe a different DNS management. We are working at our best to support every kind of configuration managed by our source code directly, when possible. Tested without known issuesDebian (tested 7/8/9)Ubuntu (18.04 GNOME tested)Ubuntu Mate (18.04 tested)Devuan (tested Ascii)MintArch (XFCE tested)Fedora (28 tested) With minimal issuesopenSUSE (Tumbleweed KDE tested) openSUSE (Tumbleweed GNOME tested) Works, with no tray icon.Elementary Works, but tray icon, web and folder links don't work. Fatal issues None known. Tech notesSometimes Tray icon works, but it is not shown because the desktop environment hides it. For example, latest GNOME may require a separate shell extension (generally TopIcons).Currently Eddie 2.x under Linux requires root privileges (like GParted or Synaptic Manager). Elevation is generally obtained with a polkit policy file (pkexec) if installed, otherwise fallback methods are used when available (gksu, kdesu, beesu etc.). When the UI runs as root, there are four -optional- actions that are performed as normal user: tray icon, notifications, open web links and open file folders. If it is not possible to act as a normal user, such actions are not performed at all. A totally separated UI (as a normal user) vs. root-actions (as root user, service or separate process) is currently under development. Needed improvementsMinimal lintian warnings on .deb editionGeneral info details on .deb edition (for example, reporting Proprietary as License, not true.)General info details on .rpm edition (for example, reporting Proprietary as License, not true.)Create official package for AUR and other distributions.Create packages also for CLI-only edition.Create packages based on direct source compilation.Procedures to include Eddie in official/standard repository

  23. You call Cogent and Hurricane Electric "Top Tier 1 Transit"? No offend but theyre more like "top budget tier 1" and HE get transit from telia on ipv4 so technically it even isnt a tier 1. thanks for the laugh tho Fixed, thanks: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tier_1_network#Other_major_networks Kind regards
  24. We all do. Can AirVPN provide an "AirVPN Server GLOBAL DNS resolver" not just Amazon AWS 10.4.0.1,10.5.0.1. for the people/members/ especially new members? That would be very useful for saying goodby to our ISP provided DNS Thx Hello! Amazon? Amazon has nothing to do with them. Each VPN server runs its own DNS server. You might have noticed that the DNS IP addresses are private. Currently we have no plans to offer a DNS server that can be accessed from outside the VPN. There is already a valid project which we support for such purposes (OpenNIC). Kind regards
  25. Hello! We inform you the the following servers have been withdrawn: Draco Reason: datacenter was unable to meet our requirements. This server will not be replaced since we are already operating with an extremely strong presence in Dallas with our own servers and lines and two different top tier2 transit providers. Brachium Reason: datacenter (Sologigabit) does not want us as customers anymore. Some dizzy and defamatory delirium about illegality of VPN "resellers" [sic] business [sic] was provided as a justification. This server will be replaced by a different server in Spain in a few days. EDIT: Brachium has been replaced by Taurus Kind regards AirVPN Staff
