TL;DR: It's probably not very necessary/useful and there's other ways to secure your account.

Staff may have it noted down as a distant thing on their to-do list, but AFAIK it's not a priority due partly to the answers in the above links .

1. I don't know how OpenVPN does it, but Eddie is an OpenVPN wrapper and does it like so.
2. Not in Eddie, AFAIK.
3. I'm actually not sure if it makes much of a difference.

1. You don't usually need to make content and server location correspond. Due to the micro-routing feature.
2. You don't need to configure anything. Just run Eddie.
3. You can try enabling Network Lock and then all your traffic will go through AirVPN.
4. You may also try the Eddie experimental client, if there's specific issues with Eddie. Instructions can be found in my signature.
5. You can finally try to share your Eddie logs with us or perhaps go to the blocked sites sub-forum, if that's relevant . Instructions for logs are also in my signature.

Which Eddie client version were you using? I believe that's an outdated issue. Have you tried the experimental client?

I assume you mean the Eddie lock feature. Staff somewhat answered that here.

We consider it as a very friendly feature, since it's the only effective way to prevent leaks, which in mobility can be frequent. Anyway this option can be disabled in Eddie 2.1, for those who don't care about traffic leaks outside the VPN tunnel, even permanent leaks, due to their low threat model for example.

You can either try upgrading to the experimental client by following the link in my signature or you can try the below solution:

Eddie>Preferences>DNS>Uncheck "Check Air DNS">Save and Preferences>Advanced>Uncheck "Check if tunnel works">Save.

Then re-connect to a server.

Sometimes you only need to uncheck one of them.

This is most likely just another issue with MalwareBytes.

Which is potentially also the cause of the inaccessibility of some sites, in your case.

Yes, assuming your laptop is running Eddie and with Network Lock as well, then the devices connecting through your laptop will also be using the VPN.

At any rate, you could for example try to go ipleak.net from your iPad to see the IP address.

What is the status of Eddie client software development?  It appears to be stalled for months.

The plugin you're referring to seems to be totally unnecessary and I'm not sure what purpose it serves. There's guides to setting up torrent clients, in my signature.

You could uninstall OpenVPN and Eddie. Then you can check the guide in my signature, for instructions on how to download the beta/experimental client.

Are you using Eddie or OpenVPN directly? You could try the experimental client, as well as going to Preferences > UI > Check the exit prompt option.

You don't need to change between 32-bit and 64-bit Windows .

Tried what you were saying, it was already set to "Block". Unchecking that and attempting to connect to a server yields the same results as before. Does anyone else have any other ideas?

So apparently after restarting 2-3 more times it started working again.  No idea what caused it or what fixed it.

May I suggest trying to upgrade to the Beta client if the issue persists?
