  1. Hello! Good effort man, give Santa your referral link! If he shares it with even half the kids he visits, you'll be setup for life! What a boon for Air, they'll be the only VPN to be able to claim that Santa approves!

    Free Trial

Hello! Welcome to AirVPN! If you've submitted your free trial request, then I would expect you to get your trial soon . You'll hardly regret AirVPN - it's practically the gold standard in VPNs. The software is absolutely excellent. With a free VPN, you should expect to get what you pay for :]
  3. Hello! We don't even know which platform you're on ^^. There's a couple of settings which are beneficial to change, not least checking that your firewall and/or other security software isn't blocking it. If you want, I've listed some torrenting guides in my new user guide. Welcome to AirVPN .
  4. Hello! Geographical proximity doesn't always mean better speeds - instead, one can benefit from looking for those which have the least "hops" from ones ISP . If you're torrenting, make sure to port-forward. Welcome to AirVPN by the way.
  5. It gets applied automatically, which you should be able to see at the check-out screen Welcome to AirVPN!
  6. Hello! Have you tried different servers and protocols? Alternatively, you could also try the Beta client.
  7. Updated: • Added (thanks to many community members various posts on the issue), some Plex Server Guidance. • Added "Who Runs AirVPN?" question & answers, with associated links, to the First Questions section. Crucially, clarifying that zhang888 is not an AirVPN employee (but still awesome). • Added info on AirVPN "Micro-routing" & how to use it, as well as info on "Status" page functions, to the First Questions section. As with Plex, there's a steady stream of people asking about it. • Added Port-forwarding image. Thanks to uscskelly. • Added note that my intent with this guide is also to collect other peoples' guides & how-tos, to make it more convenient for everyone. Credit is of course given to those authors. • Added "Turris Omnia" router to security recommendations list, as it's worth knowing about. Kudos zhang888. • Changed intro, to streamline it a little more. • Added image instructions on how to share logs & use spoiler tags. • Added note on Using NL with Tor & Staffs response • Added NL clarification about being a feature others call a "killswitch". As some get confused between different VPN providers' jargon. • Added 20% Christmas Promotion. So that people may better anticipate the next sale(s). EDIT: Added Staffs superb thoughts on "piracy". As well as cleaned up the part about the Beta client and clarified the index a little. EDIT: Added How To fix Virgin Media Connection Drops/Bandwidth Issues EDIT: Added AirVPN Staff telling them to get rekt. lol. @trev, Shamerock, Antipodean_Gypsy Thank you all. I really appreciate when people like yourselves take the time to post . It's true Shamerock, that things seem to be steadily worsening. I guess we'll just have to get everyone signed up to a VPN then huh . Welcome to AirVPN Shamerock & Antipodean_Gypsy, I hope you'll like it here. If there's anything any of you (or anyone else) has questions about or think I should consider adding to the guide or changing, then as always, please do feel free to post and tell me :]. Happy holidays and Happy New Year everyone!
  8. Hello! Welcome to AirVPN! Port-forwarding isn't the only thing you need. There's some how-tos within my new user guide . Sent to you from me with datalove
  9. Hello! Welcome to AirVPN! Do you know your ISP speeds? The servers are just fine at handling the load, no worries. There's plenty tips of all sorts in my new users guide . My guide should be pretty simple to read a little in, so don't worry. Also, is it slow speeds when just browsing, or is it during downloads/torrenting or just speed tests? Do note that just because servers are close to you, it doesn't guarantee they're the best, so try many others too .
  10. Well, it's curious you posted then, because we don't even know which server you're trying to connect to or how, so making a comparison is pretty close to impossible haha. I would've thought you wanted help to solve it.
  11. Hello! Don't make it short, make it long. We need information, otherwise it's pointless to talk about . The majority of other users are connecting just fine, so it's irrelevant to ask others really. Just post your logs and system information.
  12. In the spoiler lol. Otherwise found stickied in the How-to forum.
  13. It's all in my new user guide, in my signature. Scroll down to the installing Eddie section.
  14. Hello! Are you close to the 3 devices limit? As you're getting authorization errors.
  15. Hello! The Beta client may work better on Linux, even if your distro version doesn't use Mono 4. Do make sure you're not trying to sign into more than the alloted 3 devices, when you get authorization issues . I think it can be hit or miss as well, depending on if you use Network Lock or not. @Agent Smith It doesn't necessarily go to Singapore or HK actually. One may in fact end up connecting to Canada ^^ and thus incur a 100-250ms, according to a friends reports.
  16. Haha okay suit yourself. I use the Beta, so that I don't have to worry about shutting the client down correctly, all the time . Take care.
  17. Have you tried allowing it through your firewall then? Just go to your control panel>Security>Allow a program through the firewall. Though do note that if Network Lock is set to use Windows Firewall, it'll change the settings when you enable/disable.
  18. Hello! Unless you're willing to search it yourself, you can find some guides indexed at the bottom of my new user guide.
  19. Hello! Did you try setting your TAP driver media status to "Always Connected"? Sometimes going into device manager and disabling the adapter before reactivating it again, can also help. What about turning off IPv6 at the adapter level? Also, are these things with or without Network Lock enabled? Do ensure no 3rd party security software could be interfering as well. You can always submit a support ticket too .
  20. Hello! For Plex, you usually need to forward some ports. Netflix is no longer officially supported by Air, due to how restrictive it has become . Perhaps you could work some magic if you run things in a VM or something haha.
  21. Hello! Either check your client or check www.ipleak.net and see if results are consistent please. It would be nice to know which server you connected to, during this.
  22. You can check my signature guide for full instructions . Otherwise it's under other versions, on the download page. No worries.
  23. Go to your client area and disconnect devices. Then see if you can turn IPv6 off in your system And thank you.
  24. Hello! Presuming you're using the Eddie 2.10 client, you go to the Protocols section, click Tor, save and then open the Tor browser. Then back to the client and click the "test" button in the same area. Or does this not work? Do you get any error messages or such? No need to be so hard on yourself my friend. It can be confusing going to a different system . Since you've tried to find the information you needed without luck, you already earned the right to ask for help, for sure ^^.
  25. Ahah, I wondered if that was the case. Well as I said, do use the Beta client, as it doesn't have that annoying bug which is likely causing your issue, that 2.10 has. Namely, that if you don't shut down Eddie through its own menus, it may not reset various settings, including DNS, to their prior form and thus it looks like you have no internet. The log is the one in the client .
