  1. Hello! Well we can't help you unless you provide more information. Otherwise you can submit a support ticket. If AirVPN isn't for you, that's okay .
  2. Hello! Welcome to AirVPN! There's guides to torrenting in my New User guide, in my signature. You need a torrent client and then to configure it a little, to use it with AirVPN.
  3. Hello! We don't know what the addresses are, so we don't know. But most likely not.
  4. Ahh well, that's the Crux of the problem, isn't it Staff? No worries. But thank you for being so honest and straight up with us about the problem. Fast too. It was probably hard to write that announcement. But to me it just re-affirms that you're committed to finding the best solutions and that's more valuable than any single server. Respect !
  5. Welcome to AirVPN! Are you closing it down via its own menus? You could open the task list and pin it to the quickstart menu as a way of getting access quickly when you need to shut it down. Otherwise, you can submit a support ticket in the Client Area, for the support team to take a look. Just go to the Eddie logs and click the lifebelt icon and put the copied contents into the support ticket .
  6. Hello! It's already very simple. To make it more simple would be insulting I think. Just open Eddie and double click a server of your choice: Eddie is the AirVPN software. Which I presume you've downloaded. Yes? I don't know if you mean change to a different VPN. But you must surely mean changing between AirVPN servers. Which can be done with a double-click. Clicking the "Connect to Recommended" button is also fine. But if you've got issues connecting to other servers, you're welcome to append some logs from the Eddie client, so that we can see if there's any problems which are preventing you from switching between servers. How to find your logs, share them and many other questions have already been answered in my new user guide. Which you can find my signature as well as in the How To forum.
  7. Yep! Australia just got an AirVPN server You're absolutely right Agent Smith!
  8. Hello! You're absolutely right Agent Smith!
  9. Hello! That would be AirVPNs first Australian server, no?!
  10. Hello! Would've been nice with spoilers. Did you check the stickied threads?
  11. You're most welcome my friend. I hope it continues working and that OPs like yours become more frequent, as they help us solve problems more quickly By the way, don't forget to burn some incense at the zhang888/Network Gods shrine, for future luck
  12. Remember to do so on the TUN adapter too . An engineering student with formatting abilities - you'll go far haha. I look forward to that protocol. Also, it's good to try with and without Network Lock.
  13. Hello! I see what you mean. Maybe you could try contact the site admin or support or something and ask about the meaning of C3 and so forth.
  14. Hello! Those bad packet id errors can sometimes be resolved by switching to the TCP protocol, in case that wasn't evident .
  15. Have you tried downloading the test torrent from ipleak.net ? Also, what platform are you on?
  16. You can try open your network manager settings - the place where you normally connect to WiFi. There may be a tab in those menus which disables IPv6.
  17. The logs-area UI is acting quite glitchy at times, in 2.11.15, when receiving errors, such as when not able to connect to WiFi. Logs appearing and disappearing quickly due to the fast scroll. Scroll bar which can't be moved out of its position and such. This is in Mint 18. Just thought you might want to know, just in case .
  18. Hello! I'll give you a +1 just for writing such a beautifully formatted and informative OP, haha. Please try and turn off IPv6, also on your TUN adapter - as it can cause problems now and then. What version of Eddie are you running? Your logs weren't from line 1 so it wasn't possible to see. It would also be interesting to see if other clients on the same network can connect with Eddie via 5Ghz. You should also be aware that when praying to network Gods such as zhang888, it's very important to use the right protocol. What the right one is, is a matter of discussion.
  19. Hello! What version of Eddie are you running? Is it 2.11.15? Are you using Network Lock? You can also paste your logs in here. You can turn off IPv6.
  20. Hello! AirVPN only does OpenVPN. You can find Staffs IKEv2 comment here. PPTP/L2TP aren't secure. Windows 10 for mobile is also pretty dead. They don't even have a 5% marketshare.
  21. No worries. Yes your account will stay available and you can post whenever you like. Just login and purchase another plan when you're ready next. Don't overwork yourself now
  22. Once you pay (and thereby add more days to your account), you have a valid account. Once you have that, you will be able to use the software, once it's installed. If you download the software without having a valid account, then you just won't be able to use the software, as you won't be able to log into it, simply. We'll be here when you're back, no worries. Get well soon
  23. Hello! Welcome to AirVPN! In terms of keeping identities separate, then yes it can be quite self-defeating signing in to the VPN after having used those services with your regular connection, as it constitutes cross-contamination. But depending on what your actual goal is with the VPN, this isn't necessarily a big problem. The service will still help keep you safe in regards to torrenting for example - although I urge you to read up on VPNs and "anonymity", so as to not get the wrong idea. You could also always use different browsers, make new accounts and so forth, if you want to keep things separate. Coupled with a few good browser addons such as Ublock Origin, you can evade pretty substantial amounts of tracking. A VPN doesn't provide a 100% solution in terms of privacy, since many companies, especially giants like Google, have many more ways of tracking and identifying users, besides just matching IP addresses. So again, it depends what you want to do. If your goal is to become some kind of virtual ghost, then you'll need to do quite a few more things than just use a VPN . My guide contains various links to sources on privacy and security, as well as answers to many common AirVPN questions.
  24. As long as it's the version for Windows 10, you're likely on the right track. I can't see if you've done the right thing . But you'll soon need to update your plan, in order to have a valid account. Otherwise you won't be able to use the software. I recommend trying out the 1 month subscription or spending another 1 euro for 3 more days, so you have a chance to get familiar with it. But why do you want a VPN? Is it just for generally increasing your privacy and security or is it for something such as getting access to online services like Netflix?
  25. You're welcome. The Air speedtest does fail now and again and I think the causes differ a fair bit between each case. I think there's a consensus on not taking the Air speedtest as the final word regarding speeds. You need to on your commitment to trust yourself
