Hello! What platform is this on, exactly? If it didn't work uninstalling Eddie the regular way, maybe you can try a program like Ccleaner. I assume you used Network Lock when running Eddie. Which is the only way I can see that your connection is still off, after resetting DNS. So please try resetting your firewall rules too. If you use Eddie again, it's important to shut it down through its own menus, so that it can restore settings properly .

Hello! I'm not familiar with the app, but you could check its settings to see if there's any options for port-forwarding. If so, it would be a simple matter. Are you using Network Lock? If so, did you try disable it and run Eddie, then see if the app can connect? You could also just use Eddie in a VM and thus your host machine which runs the Amazon app, would be able to maintain its connection. One can also say that since it "refuses" to work through Eddie, that this means Eddie is doing its job right .

Cool. Maybe it's just a GUI problem, so did you consider trying airvpn -cliin the terminal? This all certainly sounds like something worth posting in the Eddie Beta thread, once there's more information; at least we may be able to see if you go through a proper connection sequence. Also, which DS are you using? If it's Wayland, that can also be a cause for some issues, but since you said it worked in the past, I doubt it. (Just working in the dark here without logs, so I'm counting anything I can think of). Maybe he got Logs because he's using Manjaro, which while based on Arch, isn't all the same either and as such neither are the ways Eddie acts for you, I suppose . If you wanted to enable the Preferences>Logging option, you could also download an earlier client that worked for you and enable it. Then upgrade again. The setting should remain in the Air.xml By the way, Staff, it doesn't seem like there's an entry for enabling logging through cli. If that's the case, could that be added please? Thank you.

Hello! Please try setting the protocol to TCP and then reconnecting to a new location, each time you change protocols. That's the first thing. You can also check the protocol in use, in the Eddie Stats tab. Otherwise please try these things, in the order they're written: Ensure you're properly connected to your network, whether through Wi-Fi or a wired connection.Restart the client, by closing it through its own menus and then restarting it again; sometimes it fixes curl issues.Go to Eddie Preferences>Advanced>Uncheck "Check if Air Tunnel works". Then try connect to a location. You can also try unchecking "Check Air DNS" in Preferences>DNS.You can also try switching off IPv6 on your TAP adapter, by going to Control Panel>Networking>Network Adapters>Clicking TAP adapter>Right-click>Properties>Uncheck IPv6.The Beta client is also possible to try, in the end . But I think it's really good you tried those things first. No affection for SSL/SSH and different locations though?

Hello! I see Microscopium on my list, but I'm using the Beta - although I doubt that should matter. Maybe try upgrading? Did you make sure you didn't blacklist the US as a region? Maybe you can try going to Eddie Preferences>Advanced>Set lists to update each minute, to see if it appears. (I don't know how often "Automatic" is).

Hello! For that bit at least, you can go to qBittorents Tools/Preferences>Advanced>Bind to Tun0 interface. Then it won't do anything if Eddie goes down.

You may be able to extract some more logs if you go to Eddie Preferences>Logging. Maybe you should try reinstalling the client, but this time with stunnel as well, before starting. You could also try out a portable release . It may also be suitable to post in the corresponding client Beta thread, if this persists.

Is that the entire log from Eddie>Logs tab? It would be useful to see what Eddie is actually doing.

You can either look into your power settings, which may or may not work for you or follow the below instructions to edit the Windows Registry: Type regedit in "run" or the Start search box and press Enter. It'll open Registry Editor. Now go to following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop In right-hand pane under Desktop, right-click on an empty white background area and create a new String and call it "AutoEndTasks" without the quotes. After creating it, click it and set its value to 1. Then close regedit, restart your computer and see if programs shut down as you want. You can also open notepad and type some gibberish into it, if you want to test it.Please tell me if it works for you . I'm not sure if there's a specific setting you could change for only Eddie, so needless to say, this change will affect all programs trying to stop a shut down. Please do be aware that editing the Windows registry is risky business if you don't know what you're doing and that by changing a setting like this, you could potentially lose data if you accidentally start a shut down. For these reasons, it's smart to make a backup of your registry before making any changes.

If anything, Aquila is the one with the logged line problems at some points and yet you're fine, which can just as well mean the issue was something on your end. The reason it has faster speeds is most likely due to your specific network conditions, in terms of hardware, ISP, peering and so on and not because there's something wrong with other locations. Hello! It sounds like a protocol which is just a re-branded SSL, that Eddie already supports. But it's a proprietary technology of theirs and the subsequent lack of clarity about what they're using, is in itself an argument against them . Other companies in this industry offer this kind of thing as well. Special "camouflage" protocols/systems. It's just for marketing purposes. I went around their site and if the goal is to compare it to Air, the result is quite harsh on Hidester. It seems there's many inconsistencies: They'll say they use Piwik for internal analysis, which is good. Air does too. But then they'll say they use XYZ third party companies and that these handle customer data, anyway.They'll say they offer encrypted proxies and then say their proxies are unencrypted and not all their responsibility. Air runs no proxies.They'll say they don't keep traffic logs, while using other more egregious forms of tracking on their site, such as Hotjar web pixels, google fonts and the aforementioned data-sharing. Air has piwik, that's it.They'll say a lot of pretty baseless things about other VPNs, such as "we don't overload our servers like others do", under "Top Speed". Air makes no such claims, because it's not helpful; possibly defamatory too.They'll talk about their location deployment policies and then still add Russia as a location, which is a dubious choice. I think Airs policy is much more consistent then.They'll say their servers don't restrict and yet elsewhere say P2P is available on "selected" servers. There's no apparent DMCA policy either, besides only using specific countries for P2P, where they might not get a DMCA notice. Likewise, there's no restriction, but they throttle those who consume too much.There's too many things to mention. To my eyes, it also doesn't look so appealing how unabashed they are about affiliate marketing: "High Conversion Rate = More Money!", which means few, if any, reviews about them are trustworthy. Hello! I think this thread has run its course and is quite old, but will keep popping up each time someone answers the poll. Naturally, most users want more locations, but as outlined in this thread by the community and elsewhere by Air, there's many requirements Australia must pass. While there's no known public plans for Australia to be added to the lists, it's worth remembering that another location desired by many, Japan, wasn't possible only a few short years ago, but now is. Locked.

They would also see a MAC address - which isn't great either and arguably worse, in terms of tracking. But regardless, simply change your PC name . In a casual setting, this sort of thing isn't something to really worry about though. If you worry about this, it would be natural to worry about Windows next, as it sends a lot of information to MS.
