I can't see why any VPN service would care whether you were using a static or dynamic IP address. Whatever it is at the time of connection is the one that will be used for that session. Eddie changes your DNS settings on connection and sets them back to what they were on disconnection (by default, but you can change this in the DNS settings).

The latest news is that from next year the iplayer service will be a subscription service only but it appears it will only require you to enter a valid UK postcode. That shouldn't be a problem to fake for most folk!

As far as I know there is no what you might call traditional PC style firewall software used for your connection to the outside world. It is a good question though; I think this is a gray area for many

I've been using Mint 18 Cinnamon for a while & KDE recently without any issues. I want to use openSUSE KDE Tumblenose as my main system and have it running in a VM at the moment. I decided to install the beta version into the openSUSE VM and it is working fine as far as I know. However, during the installation I had an issue with 'Signature verification failed'. I retried then ignored it and everything seemed to install ok.

In essence you (@TheOnePrivacyGuy) are accusing AirVPN of deliberately misleading their customers or potential ones. Seems the reasons/rules/opinions you use to justify this are ill thought out. I did read your review but normally I would have closed the page and moved on to something sensible.

I wanted to ask if this is a normal behaviour and when this happens, is the server changed dynamically or is my notebook getting disconnected with the old server and reconnected with the new server, so that I lose the AirVPN connection for a small moment?

It is normal and works as @highchilled explained. If the server is changed it means you have already been disconnected for some reason, you can check the details under the logs tab. If network lock is on then no leaks will ever occur. I use whitelists of servers so I know which ones I might be connected to even if my original choice is lost for some reason. Another reason for using whitelists for me is so that I can control my own 'groups' of servers that any particular device can connect to.

This has been mentioned loads of times, this should cover it.

There is rarely any reason to install/reinstall any software, it will make no difference to anything apart from probably losing all your secure and other settings you carefully set up. So fresh copies of firefox will in fact be less secure since you wiould probably want to alter some of the location config settings.

It appears I have been reinstated. All I mentioned was to warn friends of some scam emails that had been sent out recently pretending to be banks.

An exit node is simply the outgoing IP address of any particular AirVPN server. It isn't a part of any other company. It is the IP address that any site you connect to sees rather than the your real IP address which is a main objective of any such server. All Air's servers have just a single entry IP and a single (but different) exit IP, which further protects your connections.

These tests are unreliable at best and mostly meaningless. There is nothing that any VPN provider can do to proactively increase your connection speeds.
