JPizzle 1 Posted ... Running OSX and I think I've missed something when configuring my DNS Under my OSX Network System Preferences I've enter the following as my DNS Servers:10.4.0.110.5.0.110.6.0.110.7.0.110.8.0.110.9.0.1 Tunnelblick settings show"Set DNS/WINS" set to Set Namesever However when I connect my Tunnelblick connection logs show this: DNS configuration (for scoped queries) resolver #1 search domain[0] : openvpn nameserver[0] : 4.2.2.1 nameserver[1] : 4.2.2.2 nameserver[2] : 4.2.2.4 nameserver[3] : 4.2.2.5 if_index : 4 These are google's nameservers, and used to be in my Network System Preferences before I edited them to the 10.x.0.1 servers. What am I missing? Thanks Quote Share this post Link to post
Staff 10014 Posted ... Hello! Those addresses are DNS servers from Verizon. In order to change OS X DNS please see for example here: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/38793/how-to-switch-mac-os-x-to-use-opendns-or-google-dns/ Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
JPizzle 1 Posted ... I have both my router and network adapter set for the 10.x.0.1 IPs but I still show Tunnelblick choosing 4.2.2.x DNS servers. Quote Share this post Link to post
