Kuja 0 Posted ... Hello. I would like to be able to easily connect to the freenode IRC network, which seems to have banned certain servers, and wondered if I could easily configure things so that my IRC connection alone could bypass the OpenVPN connection and connect over my normal IP. I guess the alternative would be to use a BNC to connect, but I would like the option of both if possible. Thanks for any advice. Quote Share this post Link to post
Staff 10014 Posted ... Hello, in this case you can just add in your routing table appropriate routes to the IRC servers IP addresses in order to have the traffic to them not tunneled. For example (in Windows, in a shell or script with administrator privileges, for a single destination IP address to be reached out of the tunnel, after the connection): route.exe ADD MASK 255.255.255.255 More (many more) ideas:https://airvpn.org/topic/9549-guide-to-setting-up-vpn-just-for-torrenting-on-windows-thanks-to-nadre/ Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
