Guest Posted ... My problem is that if my PC has been on for a long time or I have had to disconnect and then reconnect AirVPN, then when I try to connect to a server essentially nothing happens in that the download indicator does not move (even though it appears to have connected), I cannot open any webpages, and after a minute or so the client attempts to reconnect itself but it always fails. I have tried closing down the application, and retrying, that doesn't work, I have also disabled and re-enabled network connections. I have also at one point installed the latest openvpn again and checked I have the latest and correct client. The only thing that I have found to fix the issue is to restart the entire computer. Then, 90% of the time, it will allow me to connect again. This isn't a major issue, but it is annoying and unnecessarily consuming as the computer I am forced to use at the moment is pretty slow at rebooting., and when I use an iOS device it works through openvpn immediately and consistently. Why can't it be the same on the PC? Is there anyway that I can sort this out so that I can disconnect and reconnect at a later stage successfully without an entire PC restart. I'm running windows 8 if that makes any difference. Thanks. Quote Share this post Link to post
