ANSWERED Port Forwarding with Mac OS X

Hello,

 

I am trying to setup port forwarding but apparently it is not working.

 

I managed to forward one port to a linux box in my network, but I cant do the same with Mac OS X and transmission.

 

Before using tunnelblick to connect to air VPN, transmission bt reports the port as open. But after connecting to airvpn the port is reported closed.

 

Do I need some additional settings on Mac OS X to make port forwarding work?

Is there any firewall running in your OS X?

 

Can you also perform a test with PortListener?

I tried using PortListener but I also get "Not reachable on server IP over the external port 32063, tcp protocol. Error : 111 - Connection refused", when using the AirVpn port forwarding testing.

 

I am using the standard Mac os x firewall.

I didnt disable the firewall but everything works now. I don't know what changed.
