Eddie GUI client wont launch on Rasbian

Latest version of Rasbian on a Pi 5 8GB, fully updated as of 25/01.  Double clicking the icon from the launcher doesn't help.  If I try to launch eddie-ui from the terminal I get the following error:

Error mapping file: mono_file_map_error failed file:./eddie-ui length:0x1670000 offset:0x4562944X error:Invalid argument(0x16).

I can see that the eddie-cli client is running in tasks, I can run the cli client successfully from the terminal.
