Twitter shows that I'm using a proxy

Together with the Android app below, they can basically pinpoint my real location. Is there any way to wipe or hide it?
Another  question: how can I change the geolocation tag of an Android app?

There's a setting in the developer options to allow fake locations. I believe paired with some other app providing those fake locations it is possible to broadcast those to all or selected apps. But I'm not too knowledgeable about that, so it's just a hint for further research, maybe.
