ElCabron 3 Posted ... I'm having an issue with AirVPN where after a period of time (usually 8+ hrs upwards), there seem to be a high CPU usage both by the AirVPN Client & the H/W Interrupt process on windows 8. I've never had this issue when I was on Windows 7 Ultimate but I'm having to reboot my Server every few days since I migrated to Windows 8 as everything seems to grind down to a near halt. The machine has minimum amount of s/w running (Usually Kaspersky Inet Security, uTorrent 2.2.1, AirVPN, latest Firefox) The same configuration was also running on Windows 7. I've disabled the Power Saving feature on the NIC. Checking the Event Logs does not reveal anything that might be the cause of this slowdown. I was wondering if any one else on AirVpn has come across this issue? I'm happy to provide more diagnostic information as required. Thanks in Advance Quote Share this post Link to post
ElCabron 3 Posted ... Not 100% sure this is the fix but changing the DNS Leasing scheme to a less frequent setting on my Router seems to have stopped the High CPU Load issue. If it happens again, I'll repost on this forum. P/S Not impressed with the no response/acknowledgement of AirVPN Support. Quote Share this post Link to post
