UncommonPrivacy 0 Posted ... Hi, AirVpn may want to consider an add-on service for dedicated / virtual private ip addresses. Although TorGuard Net apparently is from China does offer dedicated ip addresses option. (Edit Nov 14 2025: Florida my mistake. Perhaps Chinese owners) Easier to keep these IPs off of spam filter and blacklists. I know the cost will likely be alot more for obvious reasons. Quote Share this post Link to post

I don't think dedicated IP addresses will help much if the simpler policy on the receiving end of such spam and abuse is to just (temporarily) block the entire v4 subnet or v6 network ID or even the whole ASN. When I ordered a VPS a few months back and configured it as a VPN server for testing purposes, YouTube wasn't working from the start for me – "Login to verify your identity, this is to prevent abuse" message at playback time. And the server was never used up to this point. Quote Hide Tech Jedi Alex's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER. USE TICKETS FOR PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT. Forum 0 Posted ... You can not provide anonymous or private dedicated IPs. No matter how many anonymity buffers you add, if you're the only person connecting to the dedicated IP, it's easy to infer it's yours. But yes, a dedicated, especially a dedicated residential IP does help. But don't fool yourself, you are not anonymous using such services. Quote Share this post Link to post
