Why does AirVPN need javascript?

Recommended Posts

Went on the tor network and went to the airvpn website and it gave me a prompt saying: Sorry, AirVPN website require JavaScript.

Was just questioning like why though or if its a temporary bug.

The board software requires it. It is unfortunate, but please enable it on airvpn.org (or airvpn.dev), eddie.website and ipleak.net. :)

But i remember that it was possible to access airvpn without javascript before though like i think 2 months ago was the last time i tried. I mean will airvpn revert its decision on it?

There is nothing to revert, nothing has changed. It wasn't possible two months ago as well. You're mixing something up here.

So I've found the problem. The URL was taking me to a post from the community forum or something like that rather than going to the homepage. But I've found another problem in which when registering for an account, it won't let you check mark the "I agree to the terms and services and privacy policy." Will the Air staff fix it or is it intentional?

I feel like you're leaving crucial info out as I cannot follow. Where does a URL come into play here?

Cannot reproduce with any browser based on Firefox or Chromium, desktop and mobile. Cannot additionally reproduce on Safari iOS. It's a very normal checkbox as a HTML <input> element inside a <li> table tag. If this is hidden from you, I think, rather than pointing your finger at AirVPN, please point your finger at your browser "hardening" first. It feels like you seriously jumbled your browser config and now half the normal things other people can do are impossible for you.
Or maybe you're simply using one or two addons which break all the websites due to their config. Do you have any addons running that interfere with input elements?
