I'm struggling to get my Windows 10 IIS FTP service to connect through AirVPN. It works fine with the VPN disabled. Here's what I've checked:

FTP is configured for passive connections. It listens on port 9821, which I have forwarded in AirVPN to an available port. I have also enabled a range of contiguous forwarded ports in AirVPN. These are set to TCP and no remapping to different local ports. In Windows 10 IIS, I've set the FTP Firewall Support to use those four contiguous ports for the Data Channel Port Range. I've not specified an external IP address for a firewall.

My remote client is able to connect to my FTP server and clear authentication, but gets stuck on 'Listing directory,' which suggests it's an issue with the data channel ports not the listening port. My FTP server logs see my remote connection as successful but gives no detail about any other issue.

I temporarily disabled the Windows Defender firewall to see if that was blocking anything but it made no difference. I have re-enabled it. No ports used for FTP are being forwarded on my router.

Can anyone suggest a tip on what I could do or check? Thanks!
