v2.24.6 won't connect to any server, while v2.21.8 works just fine

Recommended Posts

Network lock is not involved, I unchecked the "Ensure in session" checkbox.

I am on Arch Linux.

This happens when I start eddie-ui v2.24.6 and try to connect to a server that works just fine with v2.21.8:
```
Deleting user config does not help.
Gonna be using v2.21.8 for now.
Cannot reproduce, similarly on Arch with 2.24.6. Please try a connection, then provide a system report.
Oh, scratch that, first of all, you are NOT on Arch! You're on CachyOS!
. 2025.09.22 15:59:03 - Eddie version: 2.24.6 / linux_x64, System: Linux, Name: CachyOS Linux, Version: Linux cachyos-p16v 6.16.7-2-cachyos #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Sat, 13 Sep 2025 12:51:14 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux, Framework: 6.8.0.96 (tarball Wed Jan 15 10:20:48 UTC 2020); Framework: v4.0.30319
There was a similarly headache-inducing Eddie problem solely because Cachy provided a prebuilt eddie-ui-git package linked against an old Mono version, see:
Please remove the cachyos repo and rebuild eddie-ui from scratch using your AUR helper. Then retry connecting.
