Huuva 0 Posted ... Hello I don't know why but for some reason the port I have set up isn't staying open, every 6-7 days I have to set up a new port to forward. Just me or happening for everyone? Quote Share this post Link to post

psykiller 0 Posted ... if you reboot router, what will happen? So as I understand, now you need to each 7d remove Port eg. 55555 on AirVPN client page and add it again 55555? I'm just testing this VPN, finally i configure it to some working state on Mikrotik router...so will see after 7d Quote Share this post Link to post
flat4 79 Posted ... I am not sure how you are losing ports, I've had the same ports that I requested for 3 years or more from pool 1. Unless you remove it, it does not go away Quote Hide flat4's signature Hide all signatures pFsense it works Share this post Link to post
AG999 11 Posted ... Assigned ports do not disappear from your account ever, unless your premium subscription expires, in which case you will lose your ports in 7 days. If they still do, you should open a support ticket and find a solution with staff. Quote Share this post Link to post
Huuva 0 Posted ... The port doesn't disappear, it just goes from open to closed after 6-7 days. My premium access expires in 1115 days. It happened again yesterday but seems to be just me so I will check what qbittorrent is doing next time as I only use the port for that docker. Quote Share this post Link to post

This is a not infrequent situation with those containers that destroy the tunnel at each VPN re-connection. Please see here for a specific GlueTun case and an effective mitigation: https://airvpn.org/forums/topic/63708-gluetun-port-forwarding-works-for-an-hour/?do=findComment&comment=239350 In general, if there's no way to prevent tunnel destruction and rebuild, re-starting qBittorrent (or anyway the listening program) could be the only solution. Huuva 0 Posted ... Thanks, I will try to restart qBittorrent next time, is that helps, the solution is easily fixed with a script 🙂 Quote Share this post Link to post
