ANSWERED Wireguard needs access to IOS camera, why?

i've just noticed that wireguard 1.0.16 (27) IOS 18.2, wireguard has requested access to Camera and was given, GREEN button on. i really don't remember doing this. i'm very aware and turn everything off, 99.99% never have Location Services on, don't allow apps camera/mic from day 1. i just noticed Wireguard has access to Camera.
1. why would Wireguard need access to the Camera?

i've been using wireguard set up with help from airvpn techsupport, by screenshots sent to them airvpn said i have everything correct and it's working (set up about 12 months ago). i do IOS updates as soon as they come out and the only thing i've noticed is apple/ios auto turns off VPN without notifying me and leaves it off. IIRC it needs the camera only to import configs using QR codes. I import configs as files, so I disable camera access, and everything works fine.
