ANSWERED Eddie fails to connect to any server

Hi, there was another thread just like this but I thought I might need to open a new one to get answers.

I just purchased a subscription. Previously I was using NordVPN but after extensive research I decided on AirVPN. I completely quit the NordVPN app, allowed AirVPN access to internet through my Bitdefender firewall. However, just as the other post with the same title, Eddie tries to connect and keeps disconnecting and restarting the process again... each time taking only a few seconds to say "Auth failed".

 could not understand the instructions given at that post: "Apparently UDP is blocked. Please make sure that no packet filtering tool, either on the router or system, blocks UDP. Also check any QoS (Quality of Service, traffic management) tool on your system, router and network interface device driver (lately some drivers have a QoS tool built-in) and disable it. Last but not least make sure that no antimalware tool blocks OpenVPN traffic." 

please give me a guide where I should go to the settings and change what. Any server I choose or just the automatic selection has the same result.

Hello!

Two potential problems are probably overlapping. For an explanation and a quick solution of the 1st problem please see here:

After you have implemented the above fix, please log your account out and then in again from Eddie's main window. This step is strictly necessary every time you renew, delete or add keys for your account. Finally, test again a connection.

Thank you, it is connected now, thank you. Now since I'm a complete newbie I have stuff to learn. I'm gonna start from https://airvpn.org/forums/topic/18339-guide-to-getting-started-links-for-advanced-users/

I also would like to learn about port forwarding. so lots to do  thank you

P.S. I'm already getting amazing speeds with 2 torrents that with NordVPN were very dismal
