Latency, split tunneling, and docker

Hi all!

I run a server with bluetit system-wide, because I have several native and container applications which I need to route over the VPN. At the same time, the VPN connection is fairly high latency (upwards of 50-200ms) while my native connection is closer to 3ms. I would like to run one application, which can be both native and container, ideally the latter, and have it be routed in the clear. Is there a way of achieving this? I have played a bit with cuckoo with the allowtrafficsplitting directive set to "on" in the bluetit config, but I've yet to get it to work as I get a "program not found" message whatever I try to start. Furthermore, I'm not sure how I'd run a daemon through it. Any advice?

Hello!

Please feel free to post the output of your cuckoo command as well as the content of your bluetit.rc run control file. We would also like to add, just in case, that the next Suite 2 beta version will include a new cuckoo that aims at resolving all the current incompatibilities/issues with Wayland. The next Suite beta version is under intensive development so the next beta version is planned for the very near future.
