Philiberti 9 Posted ... Hi, I'm not sure if anyone can help or if this is the right forum for this problem, but here goes. I've been running AirVPN on a laptop for some time and recently Kaspersky has flagged a problem with updating the database, the updated runs for a couple of seconds before stopping and reverting to request for update. I watch quite a lot of USA content and am wondering if using American servers is causing the problem - if I disconnect Eddie I can run updates but this has never been a problem before. Kaspersky has been having problems in the USA due to perceived links to the Russian goverment and I don't know if this is a factor. Has anyone else running Kaspersky had any problems? I'm running Windows 11. Regards Quote Share this post Link to post

It looks like Kaspersky's servers distributing updates block some AirVPN servers. Do you still experience the problem on any AirVPN server, or only on the USA ones? Philiberti 9 Posted ... Hi, Just the USA ones. I now use other servers to avoid the issue. Regards Quote Share this post Link to post
Stalinium 47 Posted ... Quote Kaspersky has been having problems in the USA It seems likely they have geoblocked all US IPs on their servers and services just in case. https://forum.kaspersky.com/topic/kaspersky-database-not-updating-in-usa-51451/ this? Quote Share this post Link to post
