kityafnsd 2 Posted ... (edited) Hello! Did you wind up with a resolution on this? I'm interested in doing something similar - almost identical probably - using AIRVPN DDNS. I'd like to have a domain I own point to a web service running behind airvpn, but not have to update the IP address manually if I reset my connection to air vpn on my server. I'm not sure what IP address or domain I need listed as the A name. Is there a link to examples / documentation on this yet? Also, if I'm misunderstanding the point of the AirDDNS service please let me know! Thank you! Edit: I read the FAQ/DDNS post again and then once I looked at the forwarded ports section I think I saw the answer I was looking for. Edit - again - I think I spoke to soon, I am still a little confused on what IP to use for this scenario and at this point I'm not sure if this adds value to the original post - just when I think my high level understanding is enough or get something working I find myself back here! Not A, you need a CNAME pointing at a DDNS name from AirDNS. In the DDNS field, enter some name, like "testtest". Then point some CNAME RR to that DDNS name. website.mydomain.tld. CNAME testtest.airdns.org. Connect to the website via website.mydomain.tld:2688 or :4414 1 kityafnsd reacted to this Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER.
