Best server? (re: latency and bandwidth)

Is it possible to test the servers to see which has the lowest latency from my location?

It would also be great to see the best throughput but latency is most important to me.

Eddie does latency tests to all servers. Alternatively, the DNS names resolve to the recommended server per country, updated every 5 minutes.
Checking throughput must be done while connected to a server with your particular use case, otherwise it's easy to DoS a server.
