petersday 0 Posted ... I need some firewall advice, I'm trying to block all internet access should the vpn go down, but still allow the vpn to connect. Now I have read in the forums the recommended way of doing this is to use Comodo - but on my Windows 7 64bit machine it just does not install. It gets to about 85% and then hangs. So I could really use some other 3rd party firewall alternative that works or a set of rules for the standard windows 7 firewall. My own attempts at using the rules haven't been very successful - so I could really use some help please. Quote Share this post Link to post
worric 12 Posted ... If you can't install comodo, something is fundamentally wrong with your win installation. You might want to fix that first anyhow. Quote Share this post Link to post
petersday 0 Posted ... You were right - I persevered and eventually got Comodo installed. It took about 6 attempts and and a few windows recoveries to clean everything up, but I was determined to get it on. Once it is on it works like a dream, and I have to say a very powerful firewall app indeed. https://airvpn.org/components/com_kunena/template/default/images/emoticons/laughing.png Quote Share this post Link to post
