drneba 0 Posted ... When choosing a server, is the best option to choose a server in the country I'm in? There are two servers in my country, should I mark only one or mark the country where I am located? Quote Share this post Link to post
OpenSourcerer 1435 Posted ... I'd say, experiment and see what works best for you. There are people in both camps: Those who recommend the geographically nearest servers, and those who are advocates of never connecting to servers in your own country. So the middle ground would be, connect to geograhically nearest servers outside your own country. But you must experiment yourself here. drneba 0 Posted ... You are right, for now the WireGuard protocol is far faster for me in terms of downloads. What I can't solve is to open the port. I've tried everything possible and it doesn't hurt. Followed various instructions and it doesn't work. Tried OpneVPN and WireGuard and nothing. Quote Share this post Link to post
OpenSourcerer 1435 Posted ... Well, forwarding a port in the AirVPN client area is probably the easiest thing. Setting pfSense up for it is a different beast. Maybe someone more knowledgable about it can chime in here. Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER. USE TICKETS FOR PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT.
