Github Release Downloads Very Slow - 90KBps

I am doing Pfsense OVPN G2G  to servers Xuange & Sirrah  but   whenever downloading releases from github.com I get a net total of 90KBps (1 or more downloads). 

If I use Proxysite.com I at least get 450Kbps.  

Anyone have any better workarounds or ....?

We can't reproduce at the moment... Does this problem occur only with github.com? What performance do you get with downloads from other sources? And with an HTTP based speed test? Which server(s) do you connect to?

Github is most of my browsing, but I do know it has happened on other sites too.

ATM (All inside the tunnel):
I am downloading/installing bitdefender and I am getting 450KB/s for the last 25 minutes.
I am trying nvidia driver download now and it tops at ~620KB/s (not many MB/s).

Speedtest.net: with "Single Connection" I get 8.2Mbps by 2.20Mbps.
    If I do Multi-Connections it is much better:  77.90Mbps by 8.67Mbps
Speed.Couldflare.com: (No settings to change) Eventually gives 54Mbps by 4.97Mbps (attached).

Also, Torrent downloading can get to higher speeds in many MB/s  (expecting the multi connections is reason also).

Please try to switch to WireGuard and test again with various MTU (ranging from 1280 to 1420 bytes).

The option in WireGuard's configuration file to change VPN interface MTU is
MTU = n
where n is in bytes. The directive must be entered in the [Interface] section.
