I'm on macOS sonoma, using Eddie with network lock and port forwarding set up in qbittorrent. I'm not getting any transfer activity.
The interface list in the advanced settings doesn't have "eddie" like it does on pc. I've been trying them all, but nothing seems to enable transfers.
I've attached a screenshot of the options available to me. I have a feeling it's one of the utun0-6, but I can't get it to work.
Any help?

Please check in the Eddie log which interface is used and select accordingly. :)

Ive followed instructions below (both methods, same resulting interface) to bind qbit to Eddie and it did not work.
I tested with this ubunti torrent which should stop when you disconnect and it did not stop.

Hello!

Unsure whether it can help, but anyway: you don't bind a program to Eddie for networking purposes. You bind a program to a network interface. Specifically you can bind qBittorrent to the network interface brought up by OpenVPN or WireGuard (some utun) and therefore you must make sure that you start qBittorrent after the VPN connection has been successfully established, then you find the correct interface name, and finally you bind qBittorrent to that interface (then re-start qBittorrent if necessary). If in doubt just don't bind to a specific interface, and activate Network Lock in Eddie, so you're protected against traffic leaks outside the VPN tunnel.

Also make sure that qBittorrent does not bind to some network interface specific IP address because it can change from connection to connection.

Kind regards

so if I've got "network lock" configured to:
mode = automatic
incoming = block
outgoing = block

that's the ticket, right?

Hello!

Yes, correct. Against any momentary lapse of reason you can also consider to check "Preferences" > "General" > "Activate Network Lock at startup". With that option enabled, Network Lock will be enforced as soon as Eddie is started, and will be lifted only when you shut down Eddie or explicitly disable Network Lock.

Kind regards

now my system crashed while I was asleep, and this morning my open port is not working and I can't get my torrent client online. I'm not very tech inclined, so I have to assume I've misunderstood something or set something up incorrectly. It worked yesterday with the same settings. (I did not enable "activate network lock at startup" before this happened.)

I did have trouble reconnecting Eddie and at one point I got this error message. Eddie's working now but the port is not
