p9974839 2 Posted ... I started getting this page while googling about 5 months ago. Started happening on and off however now it's happening every time I use Google but only with my Air VPN on. Not sure if it's happening with all VPN's or just Air. Quote Share this post Link to post
ss11 15 Posted ... It's happening with all VPN's, Tor exit nodes and all IP addresses that are shared by thousands of people and there is no real way to fix it for now except doing these captchas. Sorry, but it's how it is. For me personally it's not a huge price to pay for the privacy / lack of tracking I get. 1 Wolf666 reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
Staff 9972 Posted ... Hello! Google Search should never be used for privacy reasons (Google profiling techniques are so advanced that you risk to create a correlation between your real identity and your VPN identity at the tiniest error) and ethical reasons, but you can rely on startpage.com if you really need Google Search. Startpage will proxy your queries to Google Search and serve you back Google reply, therefore an additional protection layer stands between your node and Google and you usually avoid captchas. A very good search engine offering privacy protection commitment is Brave Search:https://search.brave.com Kind regards 6 LightlySalted, unpar, Wolf666 and 3 others reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post

There are times when I have to go through multiple "Click on the squares" captcha's just for one google search. Quote Share this post Link to post

Though I click correctly, always the next picture comes up to be solved. I found out that it is best to click on the headphones and to type what the voice says. That works instantly, Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
claverm 0 Posted ... @p9974839 I recommend this metasearch engine: https://4get.ca/ | http://4getwebfrq5zr4sxugk6htxvawqehxtdgjrbcn2oslllcol2vepa23yd.onion/ IMO the best metasearch engine in the web, and yes, it has a Google scrapper together with some others. Quote Share this post Link to post

monstrocity 31 Posted ... There are many ways to access YouTube using a VPN: Freetube app (Windows, Linux, Mac) https://freetubeapp.io/ In browser - Piped https://github.com/TeamPiped/Piped/wiki/Instances - invidious https://docs.invidious.io/instances/ Android - NewPipe https://newpipe.net/ - Youtube ReVanced https://revanced.app/ (be careful searching for ReVanced - lots of fake websites) iOS - uYouPlus https://github.com/qnblackcat/uYouPlus Google? Tons of alternatives for search. Who needs it? For simple translations, DeepL blows it away. https://www.deepl.com/translator *DeepL has a free version but it's limited, closed source, and subscription based, most everything else mentioned above is F(L)OSS.
