Hi,

Apologies if the question looks stupid, or if it was already answered (and I could not find it).

I would like to change the password of my account.
It means that I will have to use this new password when I connect with Eddie.
But what about all the configuration files for OpenVPN generated with the Config Generator? Is the password somehow embedded there, therefore I should build new configuration files?

Thank you in advance

The config generator does not use or care about your account password, but instead it uses you client certificate. Each certificate is unique per device (you can have more devices on your AirVPN account, thus each with its own unique separate certificate).

So, no, if you change your account password the OpenVPN configuration files you generated should continue to work, unless you REVOKE the client device for which those configs were created from your Client Area -> Devices.
