OpenVPN performance issue

I would like to know why when I’m connecting to an Open vpn 2.5.0 server I get way better speed (3 times better) that when I’m on a 2.5.5 open vpn server

You're the first reporting such a thing. Can you check with different machines, servers, ports and protocols?

first question I have.    is what version of openvpn are you running? 

I am running 2.65 and on one of the latest added USA servers on a 500Mb connection.
my last speed test with a 512Kb send and receive buffer was 100Mb down and 10Mb up
ill add that is the slowest upload speed I have ever seen on months/ possibly years with Airvpn
