Web proxy - in browser? Does AirVPN have it?

Recommended Posts

Just signed up for a month of Air VPN to try it out. I like everything about the company and the service (real deal! )  but one thing seems to be missing for me.
I like the extra protection of a web proxy for when I turn off the VPN and forget it off. Also for specific geo-content or for browsing semi-anonymously at work, without setting up a bona fide VPN which would be suspicious.
I know web proxies have kind of gone out of fashion but I really like them. I love the addon Foxyproxy that lets you auto-switch browsers depending on site.

Welcome! I'm afraid there's no such thing as a web proxy at AirVPN. Eddie (AirVPN's app) has a "Network Lock" feature. When activated, it guarantees that no traffic will bypass the VPN. In case VPN is disconnected, your internet won't work at all.

You could try Tor Browser for your work browsing needs.
