Unable to uninstall eddie

Eddie doesn't open properly anymore because when starting, the screen on which you can work and select a VPN connection doen't open anymore. But whenever trying to open Eddie it says an instance of Eddie is already running, even if you close it with taskmanager. I want to reinstall it, but uninstalling already doenst work because it keeps saying that certain documents are in use. How do I fix this?

Hello!

Please try this:

• open the Task Manager and terminate any eddie-ui* process running. Pay attention, you could have two different processes, kill them all
• delete manually Eddie's configuration file. To find it, please see here: https://eddie.website/support/data-path/
• uninstall Eddie completely (this time the process should be successful)
• reboot the system and re-install Eddie
