German server, Amazon thinks I'm in Denmark

Hi, simple question, I'm using Adhara (Germany) but Amazon.de thinks I'm in Denmark. Ipleak says nothing about Denmark, it's all Germany.
Some other sites display this kind of stuff as well, anybody know what's going on?

Geolocation error, most likely.
An IP address doesn't tell one where it's coming from geographically, so services exist to track data about IPs, like ISP and country where it's registered. It's a cumbersome job to ask the registration authorities for this information all the time, so it's done on occasion and saved in databases linking addresses to a geographic location, or geolocation. Access to these databases is then offered to the public, ready to be used in any way. Bang, business case, money flowing. If you're big enough, you'll be doing this yourself, like Amazon or Google.
Keeping up-to-date with 4 billion IPv4 addresses and… a tremendous amount of IPv6 prefixes is difficult, so all these databases don't necessarily offer the most up-to-date information. As written, requesting information is done on occasion. Ergo, some info can become obsolete. Bang, geolocation error.

Ok, that clears things up. Don't know how it works, but something for me to study.
I've always wondered about this had it happen every now and then.

d Eddie client (iirc) will automatically prefer a close country over your own. It's possible many Danes used AirVPN which made auto-detection think that the German server is actually coming from Denmark. That's normal.
You can check tracert yourself and see that your connection to a server goes across country borders (that's usually obvious from domain names).
