macOS Big Sur cannot get past splash screen

I tried versions 2.20.0 and 2.21.2 and both cannot get past the splash screen before Eddie crashes.

Edit: Switched to 2.19.7 and its working better. Text boxes do not work unless you click "Show Main Menu" even if it is already front and center on the screen, however.
