Would like Thunderbird to bypass AirVPN

Hi, my email provider sometimes blocks traffic coming through VPNs. Is there a simple way of using AirVPN for everything other than emails, but not for emails (for which I use Thunderbird). Thanks for your help.

I sense that Google or another mail provider blocks VPN IPs, am I right?
Generally impossible with OpenVPN alone. Approaches exist to make it possible:
VPN just for torrents (or any other application for that matter).

Thanks OpenSourcerer; Yes, my email provider blocks IPs from VPNs: not always, not consistently, but always without notice, so that the only way I find out is when I don't receive any emails for a day or so; I then have to change my email password. I will look into the Windscribe option, but my first thought is that it's too complicated for me.
