Windscribe client split-tunnel with AirVPN Configs

Recommended Posts

Posted ... (edited)

Windscribe's desktop VPN client now supports split-tunneling apps and more. It also accommodates most any OpenVPN config file from other VPN providers. A Windscribe account is not needed. I've imported a config file from AirVPN and have been trying the option to tunnel just Firefox browser through the VPN and it seems to be working well. This is on Windows 10 Home version. I used to use Windscribe "free proxy" browser extension due to the convenience of a little more privacy without having to have system wide VPN active. Now, I can accomplish the same sort of simple privacy enhancement for a specific app using my AirVPN connection instead.
