(my service on this port was working fine before). Server was Alkurhah EDIT: *facepalm* my service was not on, therefore it always would show as a closed port. Edited ... by mangersz Solved! But above all, both hint at a problem client-side, not on the server. So yeah, always point your finger at yourself first.
