Cinnamonsquare 0 Posted ... (edited) Downloaded this program for the first time and after i press "connect to recommended server" and the "tunnel drivers" are installing, the process is aborted and this message apears: "VPN network adaptor not found: install fail (0901)". After three seconds it restarts, and the message reappears, over and over again. What to do? Edited ... by Cinnamonsquare Quote Share this post Link to post
OpenSourcerer 949 Posted ... In Eddie's install directory there are tapctl.exe and tap-windows.exe. Try opening tap-windows.exe first and install the driver manually. If that didn't work, try opening a PowerShell/Command Prompt and type in this: > ./tapctl.exe create . Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures » I am not an AirVPN team member. Ledkfr 0 Posted ... I am getting the same issue on Windows 7, it keeps installing new tap drivers until i cancel the connection to a server. When i open the device manager there is a yellow warning sign on the tap adapter icon most likely indicating that the driver isn't functioning correctly. I have tried to manually installing it with the tap-windows.exe fund in Eddie's install directory but it didn't work. Hope someone has a clue on how to fix this issue.
