Sometimes endlessly stuck when checking ipv6

Recommended Posts

Posted ... (edited)

My system is Windows 10 and I use Eddie 2.18.9.
When I launch Eddie and connect, sometimes it gets stuck at the checking ipv6 stage.
I found that resetting the network adapters (disabling and reenabling in Windows control panel) fixes the problem, but it's annoying. I think I can also block ipv6 in Eddie's network settings, as seen in other forum posts, which is okay for me, but there might be something to fix there...

The next step is to post your Eddie log here. It will help to get the clue of what is happening from your side. On Eddie, make the connection again to produce the log. Then click Logs on the side then click either the lifeboat icon or the save icon, then post it here.

Correction and addition: The lifebelt icon will contain the logs. Always paste/upload that instead of the logs only. :)
