Hayk 1 Posted ... Hi there, So today I set up my new Asus laptop (Win10) and I got the newest AirVPN client. I made sure I didn't change the settings I am using on my old laptop - and AirVPN works fine on that old laptop. On the new Asus laptop, however, it is stuck "checking route IPv6". Then it terminates. It's largely something with your setup, nothing an update can fix. And IPv6 inclusion is a feature, nothing requiring a workaround. What I'd suggest are the following things. Move on to the next if the previous didn't solve it. Try a connection without NetLock. Your settings indicate it's enabled on launch. In C:\Users\3X3\AppData\Local\Eddie, rename the default.profile to something.else and try a connection. This will use all default settings in Eddie and rules out misconfiguration, even though you didn't explicitly change any networking-related settings. From the downloads page, download the portable, experimental Eddie version. Execute the exe in there and try a connection with it. Should it work, close Eddie, copy the renamed something.else into that directory, rename it back to default.profile and try a connection again, this will use your settings. I even tried on the new lapotp the (portable) AirVPN version 2.16.3, which is the one I'm using on my old laptop. And which has no issues with IPv6.Closing thoughts: If this behavior is not solvable via the AirVPN client but my computer settings, could the reason be... Antivirus, spam, firewall, maybe even consider uninstalling it completely. Some software like Kaspersky remains active to some degree in the background, interfering with all kinds of VPN software despite being disabled.
